National Capitol-Havana (en-es)

I continue in my work of exploring Havana, in my previous post I hinted that I would not talk about the Capitol because we would dedicate a special moment to it.

When we stopped in front of the Capitol, it didn't confirm me just by seeing it from the outside. I wanted to enter its rooms and get to know its history. My older brother, who was the only one who had been to the capital before, did not know if it was possible to enter or not. Finally, we got tickets what we would have to wait because there were only capacities left in the last shift in the afternoon.

The first impression of the Capitol falls in love, its architecture is fantastic, I love its neutral colors in the design, the welcoming sculptures and even its large size. In front of this there are some paladares, hotels and on its sides two parks.

From the moment we entered, my attention was drawn to what was above our heads at the entrance itself. The installation surprises from the moment you see it and from the moment you enter it follows you and continues to capture.

The first explanation why they told us that we had to leave was because of a kind of 25-carat diamond located under a crystal, bone it is a copy but they told us that they had the original and everything that the stone suffered in terms of theft, it is located in the very center of the place, and the original diamond in the National Bank for security reasons.

With the same position the copula of the place coincides, it is very high, it has gold foils and it looked cute on the outside on the inside there are no words to express its beauty

At the time I was developing in one of the rooms a State meeting so we could not walk flatly. We headed towards the part that would give us the view of the garden, before I passed by an instance that caught my attention a lot, and I lowered the brightness of the photo somewhat because the details of the ceiling could not be seen well.

I loved the elegance of that garden, and from there I could have another angle of the copela of the place.

All the spaces of the place seemed Renaissance style to me, I never tire of repeating and emphasizing the beauty of the Capitol

We were assigned to a Guide who would only explain to us about the exhibits in a room that deals with the national symbols and attributes. Since I am Cuban and I already knew the history of these performances, however, most of the tourists put on an astonished face, or some the curious appetite grew by asking a lot of questions.

When we were on our way to the exit, they took us through a room that was not the same one where we started the tour. This one has a little more of that magic that characterizes the instance.

Finally they left us the explanation of the Statue of the Republic located at the entrance made by an Italian sculptor and made in bronze, the statue is very very tall, it leaves your mouth open because it seems covered with gold. It is surrounded by a rope as a sign of how far it can be approached, touching it is forbidden.

My brothers and I enjoyed an incredible experience, one of the best, nor my cousins who are born and raised in Havana have enjoyed touring the halls of the Capitol, a place of great importance in the city and the country.

Without a doubt Havana is engraving its footprints inside me, I love the moments of this class. It was a pleasure to tour and it is being a very pleasant one to share with you.

Continúo en mi labor de explorar La Habana, en mi post anterior hice alusión a que no hablaría del Capitolio porque le dedicaríamos un momento especial.

Cuando nos detuvimos frente al Capitolio, no me confirmaba solo con verlo de fuera yo quería entrar a sus salas y conocer su historia. Mi hermano mayor que era el único que ya había estado antes en la capital no sabía si se podía entrar o no. Finalmente, conseguimos entradas lo que tendríamos que esperar porque solo quedaban capacidades en el último turno de la tarde.

La primera impresión del Capitolio enamora, su arquitectura es fantástica, me encantan sus colores neutros en el diseño, las esculturas que dan la bienvenida y hasta su gran tamaño. Frente a este quedan algunos paladares, hoteles y a sus costados dos parques.

Desde que entramos me llamó la atención lo que quedaba arriba de nuestras cabezas en la misma entrada. La instalación sorprende desde que la ves y desde que entras te sigue y sigue capturando.

La primera explicación por la que nos dijeron que había que partir fue por la de una especie de diamante de 25 Kilates ubicado bajo un cristal, ósea es una copia pero nos contaron que tenían la original y todo lo que sufrió la piedra en cuanto a robos, está se encuentra en el mismo centro del lugar, y el diamante original en el Banco Nacional por cuestiones de seguridad.

Con la misma posición coincide la cópula del lugar, es muy alta, tiene láminas de oro y se veía lindo por fuera por dentro no hay palabras para expresar su belleza

En es momento de estaba desarrollando en una de las salas una reunión de Estado por lo que no pudimos caminar a planitud. Nos encaminamos hacia la parte que nos daría la vista al jardín, antes pasé junto a una instancia que me llamó mucho la atención, y le bajé algo el brillo a la foto porque no se lograba ver bien los detalles del techo.

Que encantó la elegancia de ese jardín, y desde ahí podía tener otro ángulo de la cópela del lugar.

Todos los espacios del lugar me parecieron de estilo renacentista, no me canso de repetir y recalcar en la belleza del Capitolio

Nos asignaron a un Guía que solo nos explicaría sobre lo expuesto en una sala que trata sobre los símbolos y atributos patrios. Puesto que soy cubana ya conocía la historia de estas representaciones, en cambio, la mayoría de los turistas pusieron cara de asombro, o algunos el apetito curioso crecía por hacían muchas preguntas.

Cuando íbamos camino a la salida nos conducieron por una sala que no fue la misma por la que el empezamos el recorrido. Esta posee un poco más de esa magia que caracteriza la instancia.

No podía dejar de sacarme una foto en uno de sus balcones sino no sería yo

Para último nos dejaron la explicación de la Estatua de la República ubicada en la entrada realizada por un escultor italiano y hecha en bronce, la estatua es muy muy alta, te deja boca abierta porque parece cubierta de oro. Está rodeada de una cuerda en señal de hasta donde se puede acercar, tocarla está prohibido.

Mis hermanos y yo disfrutamos de una experiencia increíble, una de las mejores, ni mis primos que son nacidos y criados en la Habana han disfrutado de recorrer las salas del Capitolio, un lugar de gran envergadura en la ciudad y el país.

Sin duda alguna La Habana va grabando sus huellas dentro de mi, me encantan los momentos de esta clase. Fue un gusto recorrer y está siendo uno muy grato compartir con ustedes.
