HiveChess: Saturday Showdown (R22) – Season Finale with 200+ HIVE in Prizes

Hello Chess lovers!

Welcome to the reminder post for round 22 of the HiveChess weekly tournament held every Saturday. This round would be the last for this first season.

Good news! For next season, starting in January 2026, we have a new sponsor in the lineup (TBA). Since I’ve consistently managed this tournament for so long and so efficiently using my funds(as I haven’t powered down this account yet), next season will be larger, longer, and packed with greater prizes and exciting changes.

Tournament Details

1. We play every Saturday at 15:00 GMT (Time Subjected to Review)

2. We play on an open-source chess application, www.lichess.org

3. To start up on Lichess, kindly read Introduction to Lichess Platform

4. Register with your Lichess username in the comment section if your name is not on the mention list.

5. Total play time is 1 hour and 10 minutes. Time control for the tournament varies with each round.

6. Feel free to write about your tournament experience and post the link in the comment. Quality posts will get curated. Alternatively, you can post on our Discord channel.

7. Join our Team Page on Lichess, to play and see our events. (Password is Hive)
