A nighttime visit to the sultanate mosque.

Hello everyone, tonight I would like to share a story about my visit to the Aceh Sultanate Mosque.

This mosque, now known as the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque, has a long history in Indonesia, especially among the Acehnese people there.
And Banda Aceh, the capital of Indonesia, is home to this mosque.

I had originally planned to go to the UIN Ar-Raniry campus for a seven-day educational training in Darussalam, not to this mosque. But since it was already evening when I arrived, I took the opportunity to observe all that was happening at the sultan's mosque as a memento of my trip to this country known as the Porch of Mecca.

The mosque has a large courtyard, and when I was there, I saw large groups of people who came here with their families and friends and sat comfortably with them in the courtyard outside the mosque. electric umbrellas in the courtyard that can be opened and closed, especially during the rainy season, just like the umbrellas in the holy city of the Prophet's Mosque, as well as dazzling lights on the pillars of the building.

These umbrellas are there when they sit underneath, and are usually opened during the summer when it rains.
The locations of the umbrellas are still covered as my visit happened at night.

There is absolutely no prohibition for us to relax and indulge ourselves by sleeping, taking a short nap, and taking a walk at night in this location, at the sultanate's grand mosque or what is currently known as the baiturrahman grand mosque.
We can sit back, relax, and pamper ourselves by laying down in the courtyard of this mosque.

Visible on the right and left sides of the mosque, with a total of six umbrellas on each side, which serve as shade for visitors, you can see people sitting and relaxing on the front lawn of the sultanate's grand mosque.

They seem engrossed in their leisure activities and are filled with the charm of the beauty at night and the beauty of the umbrellas with the light shining on them.

When combined with the lights seen around it, the view of the pond in the mosque's forecourt is also very beautiful and alluring, which left a deep impression on me.

Although I visited the mosque at night, I was still mesmerized by its breathtaking beauty. However, the construction of this mosque, which was done during the reign of King or sultan Iskandar muda, precisely between 1607 and 1636 AD, left a deeper impression on me, making it seem very old and durable.
