'Natural cave within the dense forest' - Authentic Digital Illustration

Hello guys! How are you guys doing? I hope you all are doing great.

Well, this post is also written by me months ago. So, here I go. Today’s illustration is about something beautiful and it’s an illustration of nature’s beauty. Now we all know nature has its beauty by itself but forest caves are something I am really amazed about personally. It’s just so mystical and beautiful like there is another world in that cave. Unfortunately, I am not that amazing digital artist that can capture the beautiful natural cave in illustration. I try to do as much as I can to draw it in my imagination and style. I guess that’s my style of illustration. So why don’t we begin with my illustration that is done in Autodesk.

Okay, so here I used the color builder tool, and as you guys can see I didn’t precisely color it. I just randomly smeared different shades together just to match the follow of the depth of the cave.

Next, I used the salty watercolor tool to draw the whole greenery part by using different shades. Next, I wanted to add light inside the cave but the bushy greenery is disturbing so.

I hid the layer and did the lightness effect in the cave by using a flow airbrush tool.

Okay, now we bring back the greenery bushes from the hidden.

Then I drew a girl walking through the cave. To draw it I use the fountain pen tool. For the glowing, I used the magic selection and selected that area then used a flow airbrush tool to shade. Using a light and bright shade like pale yellow or white helps. After all the flow airbrush tool is perfect because its color appliance isn’t dense.

Next, I decided to draw some yellow butterflies. This part isn’t very fancy I use the fountain pen tool to draw a few butterflies then duplicated that layer and resize it to the view I desire.

Then I drew some trees using the color builder tool and fountain pen to draw the thin lines. Now it won’t be a forest if there aren’t any trees right?

And lastly, not least I added some sun rays. First I used the flow airbrush tool to draw then use the hair tool to smudge it. Now it looks like steaks of sunray seeping through the trees. So everyone this is the end of today’s illustration.
