'Darkness' - Authentic Digital Illustration

Hey everyone! I am here again to present you guys another illustration of mine and hoping you guys might like it. By the way, are you guys doing great? How is your health and your family? I hope everybody is doing great.

Now listen I don’t know what came through my mind or what was I going through. For some reason, I don’t know I just let my mind flow whatever I am feeling. So let me guys warn you this will be a very small and quick illustration. Let’s begin with which app I have done this in, this illustration was done in ibis paint x.

Now let's start with the first part.

I don’t know I just had to pull the black canvas or black background whichever you guys want to name it. So at this point, I don’t know what I was doing. I just felt like adding some light. Something bright. Something that represents hope in the darkness. Like that and I drew a door.

Now I wanted to show the brightness that shines out of the door so I use an airbrush tool to do the trick. Listen guys, sometimes, when I draw out of emotions I draw letting my mind control the move. I don’t have any consciousness or plan for what I am doing. It’s hard to explain them. Let’s just say my mind was not in a happy imaginative fancy mode. I think the art will speak for itself.

Next, I grew a girl reaching for the door before she fades out. In this illustration, I didn’t use any fancy tools. I stuck to the basic tools that is dip pen (hard) tool then used a soft eraser tool to give the faded look.

Next, I used the airbrush and eraser tool to color and erase the shape of the reflection of the girl’s light.

I decided to a little darker patches so I use the pencil mode (#1) tool to give that effect.

I don’t know what I drew next. I think something like roots of darkness that's feeding the light or holding the girl back. So yes, that’s the last part. I know, normally I would go like details, more details. This time it wasn’t anything like details. I hope I haven’t disappointed you all. I wasn’t in the right mood, as I said before. Even though I was not in the mood to describe and write it down, yet I was in the mood to illustrate. That is me.
