My Life as a Mom of Two Under Two

Hello hiver friends of this community! It's been a long time since I posted a blog in this community.

Today I'm gonna share to you my dear friends about my life as a mother of two under two.

Everyday feels like the same, as a full-time mom, but I always look forward to what the day would be. As a mom of two under two, I can't say that it was an easy job. It's not always a ray of sunshine, there are times that I doubt myself if I'm still doing the right thing, especially when I'm losing my patience, but I'm always grateful that God blessed me with two adorable kids. Time flies so fast these two little children will soon become adults and living their own life, just by the thought of that makes me sad but that's reality. That's why I'm living every moment of my life right now with them.

A cup of coffee is my energy booster to start my day as a mom of two. It really requires a lot of energy for me, taking good care of my two kids. It's a 24-hour job without a pay, so coffee is life for me as a mom.😄

Today, I cooked a typical Filipino breakfast for my family, Fried rice, hotdogs, egg and corned beef. I make sure that I cooked what my kids favorite every morning, which is the fried rice, even if that's the only thing they would eat. Especially my first born. He really loves to eat fried rice.

My first born also learned to eat on his own now, He is 2 years old and would turn 3 this upcoming July 26. Sometimes I would cry because I'm missing the times that he was only a newborn, only depending on me.

This is my second born, Emman. He is more clingy than his brother, He would jump to me and give me a couple of kiss. That way I feel like my tiredness was gone. This simple moments makes me thank God for the blessings he had given to me.

What I really love about having these two adorable kids is that they are really independent when it comes to playtime, they really enjoy each other's company but sometimes they fight over one toy. Well here I am as their referee😅. I let them play outside, in this way it would build their curiosity towards things, I let them became dirty for a while. I make sure to wash them after playing outside.

As a mom of two under two, everyday seems to be chaos, from taking a bath, changing diapers, preparation for their meals and the lists goes on. The house would be messy, laundries are stock for days, taking a bath was always in a rush, but I always came into realization that these wouldn't be forever because they aren't little forever. That's one of the saddest part of becoming a mom. Like half of my life would turn around to my kids, but I don't have any regrets because having them is beyond measures. I'm the happiest when I have them. So everyday I make sure that I have a quality time with them.

To all Mom's out there, I just want to say I'm proud of you. You are more than enough if you feel like your not doing your best for your child. It's okay to take a pause, a rest and enjoy the moment that you are with your children.
