I am the Driver of My Own Life

Hello dear Hivers of the Weekend Experiences community this is @saijan19 from Philippines. Nice to meet you all. This is my very first blog here, since it's weekend, I came across to visit this community and happen to read the #weekend-engagement, week 246 challenge. The topics was very interesting but what caught my attention is the topic "Why do you feel the need to take responsibility for your own life and work towards better outcomes?".

I believe that we must be responsible for our own life. We are the driver on the journey that we are taking everyday. No one is responsible for our own personal growth and fulfillment rather than ourselves. When I became a mother I came into many realizations especially to my life. The journey that I had been throughout the years was made by my decisions in life, and of course I always pray to God for provisions every time I'm about to take an action. What I've become right now was a result for more responsibilities not only for myself but also for my children.

When I decide for myself, I can sense the feeling of empowerment which aligns my personal values, aspirations and goals in life. I sometimes seek advice to my partner but the decision will always on me at the end of the day. Every day was a challenge for me, especially when controlling my emotions, but I always think that I must be responsible to make it right for a better outcome.

Taking responsibility also fosters accountability. I can able to reflect on my actions and learn from my mistakes when I'm accountable for my decisions that I made and implement some changes. Being responsible to one's self is also a lifelong learning process. It cultivates trust and respect if we recognize our personal responsibilities.

I can also sense purpose and direction to my life when I'm responsible in everything that I'm doing. I see better vision and my goal in life is clear when I take action to my daily activities and decisions. I can also feel satisfaction when there is a better outcomes in every decision that I made. Wherein right now I'm living a simple life together with my family which is my source of happiness.

To conclude, taking responsible to our life leads to empowerment, accountability, and living your life with a purpose. If we strive for a better outcomes, we must contribute positivity to others and create a ripple effect that would inspire them to take responsible of their own life.

We can seek help but at the end of the day, the decision should be made ourselves, after all we our the driver if our life. I really like that, "the driver of my own life." I also like how mature you are to think. ✨
