Harvest Thanksgiving and 6th Anniversary of our Church

Good day my Hiver friends! I hope you will have a great and wonderful day ahead!

I just want to share with you today our celebration yesterday of our thanksgiving and 6th anniversary of our church, indeed it was a double celebration on how God blessed each one of us, having a bond together like this is priceless.

In a community it's really important to not just attend a gatherings like this but to truly belong to a church wherein me and my family serves the Lord. As for me and my family we will serve the Lord.

Our Church was founded by Pastor Joel and his wife who is also a Pastor, Pastora Doname. It was first a family church wherein we gather at their garage for almost 4 years, and because of their commitment and compassion to our God, and with continuous prayers to have a physical church. God is so great we are able to have this church build last 2023. The members of our church was continually growing every year and we are so much delighted to welcome new member every time.

Yesterday's celebration was extra special because we also celebrated Harvest Thanksgiving.

Our guest speaker for our occasion was Rev. Samson P. Catolos. He was a dear friend of our Pastor. On his message he highlighted that if we give thanks to the Lord we must give our best to Him. As we are serving the King of kings and Lord of lords. He also said that it's not about about the quantity when we give, it's about the quality, how we give it with all our hearts. Praising the Lord, giving our best to him, giving thanks for all the blessings that we had received.

On our program, the women's group also sang praise to our God.

Meanwhile, the children ministry where gathered outside and a their teacher let them do some artworks after telling then a story on the bible, afterwards they will play. It's really important that we let our kids go to the church while they are still young, having a relationship to our God is really important.

Since this was a celebration of Thanksgiving, after our service we are gathered to have lunch at the church. The cook ministry prepared delicious foods for us to partake. They cooked igado, Squid, ginataang gabi and pinakbet. There are also fruits like watermelon and banana. Thank you Lord for the food!

Time to eat, all the foods was really delicious, especially when we gather like this.

Yesterday was indeed a great celebration, and we really thank God for another for our church. Together we pray that we continue grow and may God bless our Pastors on our church, all the leaders to have strength in everyday. I'm so much blessed that my family belongs to a community like this. My prayers was my kids to have a relationship to our God, so that if they encounter problems when we are not around they know where to find strength and hope.
