A Skirt of Hills at Islamabad / Exploring Daman-e-Koh View
Hello guys. Today I will share with you the beauty of a very beautiful place called Daman e Koh. I went to Islamabad with my cousin about three months ago to meet my friend Taha and we stayed there for three days and visited many locations but out of all these locations this place was the most beautiful and good. It was Ramadan at that time so we went a little before the iftar started so that we could iftar there and also enjoy the sunset view.
In the picture below, you can see how beautifully Daman-e-Koh is written on the board at the entrance and how cleanliness is taken care of here. Even the tourists who come here respect this place and do not spread dirt. There were numerous pine trees here and a large number of monkeys.
As you can see on this board, some instructions are written in Urdu language. This board has also been designed with the wood of the same pine trees that are planted here. The first instruction is to stay away from monkeys and the second is not to spread dirt. The third is to take care of cleanliness. If you look at the instructions of the first instruction, it is said that do not go near monkeys, but what to say about it if monkeys come near us.😄
Moaz and I were walking ahead while Taha and Moazam were walking behind. We had some bags containing food items that we had bought for iftar. When the monkeys saw these bags, two monkeys came near us and tried to snatch the bags from us. We were very scared and it seemed to us that they were trying to attack us. Taha shouted from a distance that do not give them the bags and especially put the mobile phones in your pockets. The monkeys were looking at us with very aggressive and greedy eyes. @moaz-sabir started screaming in fear and the people around started looking at us. The funniest thing was that Moaz put the bag on his head. We were stuck in their clutches for about three to four minutes and when Taha and Moazam came near us, they helped us۔
This is me and I took a beautiful selfie. The shirt I am wearing I bought from there the day before from Breakout and I got it for 1100 rupees at 50 percent off. You can see below that the white flowers are blooming and there are more flowers than leaves and how beautiful they look.
Once again, it's me and these pictures of me were taken by Moaz with his iPhone and I really liked it. I uploaded these pictures of me on my Facebook profile. Behind me, you can see a tree with white flowers on top and it makes this picture even more beautiful. The weather was quite clear and there were white clouds scattered on the blue sky. The picture you are seeing below is a view of the entire Islamabad from here.
This is a big cactus plant which is quite beautiful. People had written their names on its leaves. The dried up tree without leaves that you see below looked very beautiful and from here in front you can see a beautiful view of Islamabad. We sat on a bench near this tree for quite some time. Behind it was a restaurant called Dome, which was very expensive, and I think it would be better to spread out a mat outside and eat your own food while enjoying the view of Islamabad.
The weather was quite good and it was not too hot maybe the reason for this is the beautiful hills of Islamabad. There were numerous pine trees here and we saw numerous monkeys at the entrance of the Daman-e-Koh, but the number of monkeys was less from where the view of Islamabad is visible. People had come here in large numbers fir iftar. We also saw a singer who was attracting people with his melodious voice.
This is me and I found this picture of myself very beautiful. This tree full of pink flowers was really presenting a beautiful scene. We all sat on this bench and took turns taking pictures and right in front of this bench was that dried tree whose picture I shared above.
A very funny moment happened here. Actually, @moaz-sabir picked up these pink flowers that were falling on the ground and put them in the umbrella and Moazam made a short video of it in which Moaz brings the umbrella over himself in an instant and the flowers fall on it. The video turned out quite well and seeing this, Moazam also tried to make such a video but he did not put the umbrella over his head in an instant but lifted the umbrella very politely that is why the flowers had already fallen down and it was really an oops moment for him because a lot of people were watching them.🤣 Me and @tahastories1 were sitting on this bench laughing out loud and we acted as if we were not with them.😄
In this picture, you can see that many people were doing iftar by laying mats and enjoying the beautiful view of Islamabad but we had not any mat because we forgot.😐 It was getting dark and the lights of the buildings were starting to on. My camera didn't capture the best photos but if you have a good camera, you can take beautiful photos here at night. Below you can see that we took a selfie and now it was completely dark and the pictures weren't coming out well.
This is the Dome Restaurant, a picture of which I took during the day, which I have shared above. There were beautiful lamps around it and at night this restaurant also looked quite beautiful but only customers were allowed inside. The picture you are seeing below is a picture of Faisal Mosque and I took this picture after zooming my camera a lot. This mosque also looked quite beautiful with the yellow lights and I am glad that I caught a good picture from such a distance.
We spent about two hours at this beautiful place and took countless pictures and had Iftar here. I hope you liked this Daman-e-Koh, which is located in Islamabad. Don't forget to give your feedback about this beautiful place in my comment section. I will be waiting for your comments.
