Las líneas que no cruzamos [ESP/ENG]

Las líneas que no cruzamos se quedan latentes esperando por nosotros a ver si nos decidimos atravesarlas alguna vez. Son parte vigente de esos pendientes que nos trazamos al comenzar el año. Una lista a veces corta, a veces larga y a veces inquietantes.

Cuando logramos algo de avance nos impresiona todo lo que somos capaces de hacer. tenemos esa capacidad oculta, muy atrás en la mente que a veces pensamos pero que no logramos sacar cada año.

The lines we don't cross remain dormant, waiting for us to see if we ever decide to cross them. They're a permanent part of those to-dos we set for ourselves at the beginning of the year. A list that's sometimes short, sometimes long, and sometimes unsettling.

When we make some progress, we're impressed by all we're capable of. We have that hidden ability, deep in the back of our minds, that we sometimes think about but can't quite bring out each year.

Las líneas que no cruzamos, nos dejan pensando si pudimos hacer más o cambiar nuestro destino. A veces empezar de nuevo o mirar atrás nos hace temblar, ante las posibilidades que se nos abren de frente. El si hubiese hecho, el si hubiese estado, el si hubiese cambiado algo.

Por años arrastramos a cuesta los reclamos del hubiese hecho, hubiese sido. Sin percatarnos que nunca fue una decisión final, sino el empuje en el camino por las otras personas que nos acompañan.

The lines we don't cross leave us wondering if we could have done more or changed our destiny. Sometimes starting over or looking back makes us tremble at the possibilities that lie before us. The "what if I had done," the "what if I had been," the "what if I had changed something?"

For years, we carry around the "what if I had done," the "what if I had been," without realizing that it was never a final decision, but rather the push along the way from the other people who accompany us.

Escalar esas líneas que a veces vemos como una montaña de ropa sucia y pendiente. Cuando salimos de los espacios que nos son cómodos, exploramos nuevos caminos, descubriendo que podemos subir cuestas y cambiar nuestro destino.

Mezclar los logros y determinar que podemos esforzarnos un poco más en cambiar nuestro destino más difícil. Una línea sonriente es la que nos acompaña cada mañana, en el esfuerzo por lograr algo mejor.

Climb those lines we sometimes see as a mountain of dirty laundry. When we step out of our comfort zones, we explore new paths, discovering that we can climb hills and change our destiny.

Blend achievements and determine that we can try a little harder to change our most difficult destiny. A smiling line is what accompanies us every morning, in the effort to achieve something better.

Nos esforzamos por mantenernos en un estado mental saludable, que nos permite creer que podemos cruzar esa líneas de la meta, a pesar del gran esfuerzo que tenemos que realizar. Esas líneas se quedan allí al pendiente.

Somos valientes si logramos ordenar esas líneas pendientes.

We strive to maintain a healthy state of mind, one that allows us to believe we can cross those finish lines, despite the great effort we have to make. Those lines remain there, hanging in the balance.

We are brave if we manage to sort out those pending lines.
