Poverty corrupts our nature.
Poverty is something that makes human life much more unbearable. People do not want to do things willingly. When poverty comes into people's lives, people agree to do those things willingly. There is a helpless reality hidden in the word poverty, which can change a person's lifestyle tremendously. When a person falls into poverty, his consciousness, morale and morality are deeply affected. Poverty is not only an economic crisis, it is also a mental and social crisis - which gradually changes the nature of people. Due to which people do not work because of doing bad things and even if they have crimes within themselves.
Every person has some or the other needs in their life. Some can fulfill them easily, some cannot. When someone's basic needs are not fulfilled, they start to feel dissatisfied. This dissatisfaction gives rise to frustration, jealousy, greed, or dishonesty. Even an honest and innocent person is sometimes forced to lie, do immoral things, or even get involved in crime—just to satisfy his hunger or provide food for his family. That is why it is said, "Poverty paves the way for immorality." Poverty completely ruins a person's life. Even if he tries a thousand times, he cannot return to the good path because his level of constant wanting and getting increases so much after a while that he cannot return from there even if he wants to.
If a child grows up in a poor family, it has a negative impact on his attitude, thinking and character formation. He often becomes jealous of others for his own needs, or a kind of anger arises within himself. Even many times, he is seen stealing things from others, telling lies - these are not only his character flaws, but a tragic result of the poverty of society and the environment. There are many people in our country who cannot help people in need even if they want to, but those who are in need can restrain themselves from such acts, but today's people take the help of social media to help the needy.
Poverty not only destroys the individual character, it also harms the society. In a poor society, the rate of education decreases, crime increases, morality weakens and mutual trust and sympathy between people decrease. As a result, instability is created in the society, which is a major obstacle to development. People do not become poor only depending on their personal character. In some cases, poverty becomes a family habit. Just as parents have grown up in poverty, a child also grows up in poverty.
However, it is not true that poverty destroys everything. There are many who overcome poverty, keep their character and nature intact, and reach the peak of success. But they are very few in number. Because most people lose their morale under the pressure of poverty. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the state and society to create an environment where no one is forced to sacrifice their values due to poverty. For which they do not think twice, but if a person did not grow up in poverty, his every wish would be fulfilled, then he would never sacrifice his values.
After all, it can be said that poverty is a cruel reality that can lead people to deviate from their ideals and morals. But if society is compassionate, if it can stand by people, then it is possible to prevent this negative change caused by poverty to a great extent. We should create an environment of fairness, compassion, and cooperation in society so that poverty cannot destroy anyone's character. Then our society, our country, will be destroyed even earlier.
Teach your child to thrive in poverty.
Raising children is a responsible task, and this responsibility is not limited to just providing physical care or education—it also lies in building their character, mental toughness, and teaching them the true values of life. In today's consumerist society, many parents give their children everything very easily, so that they do not face any hardship or lack in their lives. But children who grow up with everything do not learn to accept the harsh realities of life. Therefore, today it is necessary to teach children to grow up in poverty. Above, I have tried to highlight the things that we need to keep in mind while raising a child. Your child will want a lot, so why not fulfill all his wishes? Try to raise him in poverty.
Here, “lack” does not just mean poverty, but rather it refers to the lessons of life’s limitations, rules, self-restraint and sacrifice. When a child gets everything, he does not develop a sense of value, gratitude or a mentality of enduring hardship. On the contrary, a child raised in lack learns to appreciate even the smallest things. He knows that not everything can be obtained by asking for it. This realization builds self-reliance and a realistic mindset in the child. The more your child can move forward in facing reality, the more he will be able to appreciate surprises.
Children need to be taught from an early age that you can't always get what you want in life, and nothing lasts forever without hardship. You can make sure that they struggle to achieve something on their own—like saving their own pocket money, helping with some household chores, or taking responsibility for their own studies and time management. This will instill a sense of responsibility in them and they will be able to stand firm in any crisis in the future. Our lives are long-lasting. We can leave this world at any moment, but when we leave, they must learn to understand well how to fight for their future.
In addition, to teach children human qualities, it is important to familiarize them with the realities of society. Standing by the side of poor people, sharing their useful things or telling stories of the lives of the needy will help them develop empathy and humility. This type of education will make them not only successful people, but also good people. A good person can take responsibility for the well-being of every member of his family, but when he takes responsibility for the well-being of his family, he will take responsibility for the well-being of the people of society in his work.
Of course, this doesn't mean that you have to raise your child in poverty. Rather, you need to educate them about life—how to be happy with limited resources, how to work hard to achieve your goals, and why gratitude and self-control are the best qualities in a person.
Finally, while it is easy to raise a child with everything, it is equally important to teach him to grow up with nothing. It prepares him for life, gives him the courage to face future adversities, and develops him into a complete person. So, let us teach our children not just dreams, but also reality—teaching them how to find the light of possibility even in the face of limitations. So instead of just basing your child on what he wants, you must give him the opportunity to grow up with nothing so that he can bring many good books for his future life.
