Four days ago, I shared about our school's plan to have a company outing in Tanay, Rizal. Upon arrival at the site, I felt like a child excited to discover the beauty of this newfound place.

In this post, I just want to share with you our experience of the beauty of God's creation during our short stay.

Arrival

We arrived in this remote, mountainous area off the Marilaque Highway close to 5 PM. Thanks to Sis Shenna (the fourth lady from the left in the above photo), for she has been here several times in the past, and she thinks that late in the afternoon is the most appropriate arrival time for us to enjoy the refreshing treat of such natural beauty.

However, before I continue my story, I would like to introduce you to a local Thor calling for the power of the lightning. Unfortunately, he lost his hammer, and that's why Loki had his way. 😆😂 🤣

Kidding aside, let me guide you in our journey from the late afternoon of May 1st until lunchtime of the following day.

The Team and the Facility

After a brief picture-taking, I roamed around and checked the entire facility. As I walked and went up and down checking the place, I did not feel the usual exhaustion due to shortness of breath. My lungs were so happy and thankful, enjoying the fresh air. Perhaps if I were to choose this area as my retirement residence, I think I would live longer.

The first thing that caught my attention was the pool.

We suspend swimming because it's already cold.

And then I checked the cabin.

The rent is 3,500.00 PHP overnight if you plan to stay for several days. However, if you intend to stay only one night, I think there is no need to rent a cabin. You can rent a tent instead by paying 500.00 PHP.

As for the cottage shown above, I failed to ask about the rental fee. If your group is big, I think renting the space will make your table fellowship more comfortable and exclusive.

The Beauty of God's Creation

Now, let us turn our attention to the most beautiful work of art made by the Creator Himself.

I am lost for words to describe the incomparable beauty of God's creation. I think in a time like this, poetry is the way to go, and so I asked Gemini to compose a brief poem about the incomparable skill of God as an artist who created the beauty of nature:

No mortal could capture such exquisite grace,
The fingerprint divine on time and on space.
In every wild wonder, a masterpiece we find,
The incomparable skill of the Artist divine.

Here I am, standing in awe while at the same time enjoying the beauty of creation.

Dinner Time and Bonfire

The Following Day

The eleven of us, except for two, stayed in three tents. When I heard from the other tent that it was already 4 a.m., I told them, "It is now time to rise!" However, when I tried to go out of the tent, I felt the cold, and so I decided to stay inside and wait for a few more hours.

John Michael was able to make a video capturing the transition of darkness to light from dawn to sunrise. Unfortunately, I could not share it here; perhaps later I will upload it on 3Speak.

Here are the two pictures we captured of that beautiful dawn. I am happy to see the clouds below our feet.

While enjoying nature's most breathtaking vista, I could not help but think of the incomparable beauty of God's abode. If the beauty down here has fascinated me beyond words, I wonder how beautiful heaven would be.

And here is our group picture on the second day after we came out of our shells.

However, @kopiko-blanca is not satisfied. He wanted to enjoy the pool.

And so we paid an additional 200.00 PHP per head and enjoyed the pool for two hours.

At around 10 AM, we already felt the heat of the sun, and so we decided to pack up our things on our way back to Dasmariñas, Cavite. Of course, before going back to Cavite, Shenna and Mike guided us to the BNK Cafe and Resto to have our lunch.

Going back to our school, Mike asked me to share some stories while driving to keep him awake, for he anticipated that everyone would fall into a peaceful sleep after experiencing that special treat from the hand of God.
