I am sharing some videos from skaters in Panama City that I met and have talked to about our mission here.
I dont want to take credit for these works but actually show you all how easy it is to post content to generate rewards like this to promote skatehive.
All you need is access to the internet!
How to post others content
Some of you have never used video downloaders and thats pretty normal.
You may even think it is bad to use this technology because it devalues the work of the editors/filmer and skater.
Where are these people?
Are they on skatehive?
No. They are building their own hype and posting on corporate platforms in hopes of sponsorship farming clout.
We love skaters and filmers/editors but let's just be real.
We cannot onboard people unless they see the rewards themselves.
That's why it is important to see the value in this method.
To begin using this method you may want to establish an actual connection first but I feel like you could probably have success without in person conversation and consent.
- Step One = Find the skater you want to onboard
- Step Two = Use SnapInsta to download their clips
- Step Three = Post to skatehive and backlink to their content with onboarding engagement in the comments

your approach is totally wrong, imo.
we onboard people by inspiring them with our own skating, and making them want to involve themselves, by how cool it is.
we do this by being community leaders in the real world
not by downloading their content off instagram and posting it to show them how much they can make.
rule number one: no plagiarism.
get your head in the game ryosai
you should skate more, post your own skating, and show them how much YOU make.
and then casually tell them how this is a skater-made platform of dudes who hang out on discord every day.
make them want to chase skatehive, dont chase them with skatehive and scare them away by pirating their content off instagram lol
sounds like you dont want to support my onboarding efforts which is fine but this is the way I am doing it
i dont agree with your strategy at all.
what skatehive is, is a tool to teach skateboarders about crypto.
not simply a faucet for them to print more hive. what you are proposing is worse than skate hype
get their emails and usernames and i will make them skatehive accounts
but i agree the hurdles we have in the US are more. a conversation i was having with an guy at farcon, was saying we should build it in a way that you dont even know you are using a blockchain. its all behind the scenes.
here is a constructive idea. ask them if they want a skatehive account, and get thier email and the username they want. and tell them to check their spam folder because thats where the email goes when we send it to them . and then send me the info and i will make them accounts
