dCity Optimization for Top 100 Player
How to properly analyze and optimize your city
Without spending anything how can we utilize what we already have and optimize our old dcity for better profits?
dCity is an asset management game that utilizes blockchain technology to simulate a real market economy with NFT assets and tokenized ownership.
You can find passive income Defi that is incredibly lucrative but ofc the real gains come from active gameplay.
Strategies that make use of education and knowledge backed by research and experience are what I have to offer my readers.
Check out my last dCity post:

I went over a few strategies to optimize some smaller cities but I was given an opportunity to analyze a top 100 city.
@killerdragon24 commented on that post and asked me what I would do to their city.
I will show you all what I would do here and now XP
City Optimization for Killerdragon24
Right off the rip I noticed the stacks of citizens supplying the population stat instead of building which are really cheap population at the moment.
Always be on the lookout for periods in the market when the assets that you are lacking are being heavily discounted.
What I am suggesting is a sell off of citizen NFTs like Workers, Worker, Hard Worker and any of the other citizens that dont supply Tax Refund also if you want to fully optimize consider citizens which are really old.
Old citizens can still be used in Combines so long as they haven't aged into retirement yet.
After citizens become old and retire they can be used in a combine that is super rare called retirement home so you can still manage to sell them for a decent price sometimes but right now isnt one of them.
It is best to sell citizens before they retire and inevitably decease as there is no use for the bones combine yet.
I would consider any citizens from before the 2 million ID series as being old since we have now entered the 3 million ID series mint on Young Citizens.
Citizens that Earn > Citizens to Burn
There are about 700 citizens in this city that aren't producing a Tax Refund and they are worth about 784k SIM based on marketplace Ask and about half that or less based on immediately available bids.
If barracks are currently selling for 595 and provide 4 population it would only take 175 to fill the 700 population deficit from selling your citizens.
This would cost 122k SIM leaving you with an excess of 662k SIM to reinvest or hodl.
There are many ways to play the market which is the most active form of daily gameplay.
I would personally list about half of each type of citizen undercutting the lowest ask immediately.
Just look at the market spread for Workers and determine if you want to support the highest bid and cash in.
It would take 2 Workers which provide 4 population sold at Bid to buy one Barracks to replace them so I think it is potentially worth it just to access population stat that will never die but it's up to you.
I definitely wouldn't go lower than the 555 bid but it only has 11 cards available to sell so just use your best judgement and remember the markets never sleep and tomorrow may offer a better selection.
Be aware that some of these cards are used in Combines and that is why their Ask price is so high so feel free to undercut these resellers who are all placing bids and playing the markets.
There are some pretty huge margins even compared to this spread from 555 to 1998 SIM.
If you want to be even more strategic, try to sell your citizens off from oldest to youngest.
You aren't able to select which citizens go to the market so you will have to select them and transfer to a separate market account to hold and sell them.
Besides replacing these liability citizens for longterm assets I would recommend using the 600k profits to place strategic bids into income properties, population and students.
Imagine trading three old Workers for one Super Cop with enough life left to still ROI and then some.
Just be wary of the lifecycle of citizens when purchasing citizens that you intend to hold into old age.
Finale
At 7k SIM and a daily payout of 10 SIM it would take 700 days to ROI but does the ID have another 700 days of life?
Be aware of the ID number and that each citizen can live anywhere from 3-4 years or about the length of each market cycle.
However, you want to progress your city is really up to you so I will go ahead and wrap up this post and let you decide if any of this was good advice or not hahaha best of luck
If anyone else would like something similar drop a comment haha I enjoyed this post well enough to do it again
