the concert at the National Museum of Cuban Music
Hello everyone, I hope you're all well. I'd like to say hello to all of @hive and especially to this beautiful community. Today, I'm here to tell you about the concert the teachers and students put on at the National Music Museum. I'll tell you how I got there and the importance of the concert.
You may not know this, but besides being a music lover, I've been studying it since I was 6 years old, first in singing classes, and then at 8 with music theory, piano, choir, and art history.
I'm a student at the Amadeo Roldán Conservatory, a middle school music teacher, and we were invited to participate in a concert with the Nicaraguan ambassador and other diplomats. But getting there was a real hassle.
Leaving work behind me, I took the bus. When I got off, the stop was Fraternidad Park. All the way to the museum are iconic Cuban landmarks, such as the Alicia Alonso Theater, the Capitol, Central Park, where American cars are parked, some well-known hotels, the Museum of the Revolution, and the Floridita, among other places. These are definitely the streets I like to walk the most, even though I rarely go out.
Here we find ourselves at the entrance to the museum. Upon entering, the first impression is a musical atmosphere upon seeing the piano at the entrance (it cannot be played or opened) and you find photos of a prominent Cuban artist and pedagogue, Gisela Hernandez.
When I arrived, the guys from the group were already rehearsing in the courtyard, so it was up to me to get ready and join the rehearsal, as the concert was starting in thirty minutes.
This is the concert hall, and the performances began with piano maestro Dorys Oropesa; lute maestro Efrain Amador, creator of the Cuban lute and tres method; and multi-instrumentalist El Guajiro (his pseudonym), who played the tres lute and guitar. They performed works by Bach, Chinese pieces, and even pieces by Efrain Amador himself and Leo Brower.
This is a student of the Cuban instrument, the tres, who played a song and some pieces: one by a Nicaraguan in honor of the ambassador, one by Bach, and another whose name I don't remember, but I know I've played it on the lute.
And... my moment. I had to sing traditional Cuban tunes, accompanying myself on the lute. It was a disturbing moment. The temperature was so low, and my fingers were freezing. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to move them properly on the lute. But other than that, it was gratifying, and they even recorded us for television.
And now it's time for my school's plectrum group, which I'm also part of. It's always nice to share time with my friends, even though rehearsals are stressful because they never concentrate and behave horribly, but they are excellent people. Incredibly, everything went wonderfully for us, and our teachers were super happy to see that their pieces were shown and that we did well.
When I left, I asked my friend Daniela to take some pictures of me in some strange but beautiful paintings that were there, and I also showed them to her.
After that, we left. The concert lasted until almost 6:40 at night and I got home at 7:40.

It was a wonderful day, sharing in such a healthy way with my school friends and making known not only my personal talent, but also sharing the roots of my country, country music, and tunes to the diplomats and the Nicaraguan ambassador. It is always an honor to serve the arts, and I hope you like my post. Here I tell you about this truly beautiful experience of mine at a concert. I send you all a huge greeting and have a good weekend. A big hug. ❤️

Hi @galenkp
Although there are a few photos from previous posts that are also included in this post, most of the photos are completely new, and some show different places.
Most importantly, both stories are completely different and were written individually for each post.
There is an effort to create both posts and stories.
I would not consider it recycling in this case.
