Hola hola a toda la comunidad de HomeSolutions. Este es mi primer post en esta comunidad, así que les mando un saludo grande.

Hace unos días llegó un paquete a mi casa que mi suegra había comprado para embellecer la terraza. Me llevé una grata sorpresa, ya que no sabía nada de esto y me puse muy feliz (¡a mí me encanta la pacotilla de adornitos, decoraciones y muebles!).

Eran tres cajas, pero dos ya estaban abiertas. Una de las cajas contenía una carpa (cuando comencé con las fotos ya la habíamos armado, así que la carpa se las debo), y las otras dos traían juegos de mesitas y sillas para exteriores.

Les vengo a narrar y mostrar mi proceso armando todo esto junto a mi novio 🫶🏻.

Así se ven las primeras fotos de la caja que no estaba abierta. Tratamos de abrirla solo manualmente, sin cuchillo, ya que decía que no se podía usar para evitar dañar el contenido.

Aquí están las piezas separadas: el espaldar, los costados, los cojines, las patas de la mesa, los tornillos y las arandelas.

Yo en mi vida había armado una silla ni una mesa, pero me encanta hacer cosas así. Me sentía como si estuviera haciendo una manualidad, así que me puse manos a la obra junto con mi equipo (mi novio y, de vez en cuando, su sobrino, que algo ayudaba).

Comenzamos armando la primera mesa. Empezamos poniendo las patas (sin apretar completamente los tornillos hasta que no estuvieran todos colocados), tal como indicaban las instrucciones.

Después pusimos el soporte inferior de la mesa para mayor estabilidad y, finalmente, el cristal.

Y así quedaron las mesitas.

Luego procedimos a armar las sillas (¡qué clase de trabajo dieron! Tienen muchas partes).

Estas son las piezas de la silla que yo estaba armando (venían con letras para saber cuál colocar primero y cuál después).

El primer paso era poner los tornillos que unen los costados (reposabrazos) al espaldar de la silla.

El segundo paso era unir la parte de abajo (donde uno se sienta) al espaldar y a los reposabrazos. Esta parte fue bastante tediosa, ya que había que colocar la silla en posiciones incómodas y era difícil lograr que los tornillos quedaran bien ajustados.

Después de poner los tornillos en todos los lugares, llegó el momento de apretarlos completamente (diría que esta es la parte más importante, ya que le da firmeza al asiento y evita que se desarme).

(Ojo: siempre hay que apretarlos todos al final. Antes, solo se ajustan un poco para que no se zafen las piezas).

Y así quedaron los muebles.

Fue un día largo, ¡me dolían los dedos de tanto usar el destornillador (que venía en la caja) y de apretar tornillos! Pero el resultado fue muy lindo y, además, el proceso fue muy divertido.

Así quedó acondicionada la terraza con las mesitas y la nueva carpa.

Hello, hello to the entire HomeSolutions community. This is my first post in this community, so I send you a big greeting.

A few days ago a package arrived at my house that my mother-in-law had bought to beautify the terrace. I was pleasantly surprised, since I didn’t know anything about this and I was very happy (I love the bundle of ornaments, decorations and furniture!).

There were three boxes, but two were already open. One of the boxes contained a tent (when I started with the photos we had already put it together, so I owe you the tent), and the other two brought sets of tables and chairs for outdoor use.

I’m here to narrate and show you my process by putting all this together with my boyfriend 🫶🏻.

This is what the first photos of the box that was not open look like. We tried to open it only manually, without a knife, since it said that it could not be used to avoid damaging the contents.

Here are the separate pieces: the back, the sides, the cushions, the table legs, the screws and the washers.

In my life I had put together a chair or a table, but I love doing things like that. I felt like I was doing a craft, so I got down to work with my team (my boyfriend and, from time to time, his nephew, who helped something).

We start by assembling the first table. We started by putting the legs (without completely tightening the screws until they were not all placed), as indicated in the instructions.

Then we put the lower support of the table for greater stability and, finally, the glass.

And that’s how the tables were.

Then we proceeded to assemble the chairs (what kind of work they gave! They have many parts).

These are the pieces of the chair that I was assembling (they came with letters to know which one to place first and which one next).

The first step was to put the screws that join the sides (armrests) to the back of the chair.

The second step was to attach the lower part (where one sits) to the back and the armrests. This part was quite tedious, since the chair had to be placed in uncomfortable positions and it was difficult to get the screws to be tight.

After putting the screws in all places, it was time to tighten them completely (I would say that this is the most important part, since it gives firmness to the seat and prevents it from disassembling).

And that’s how the furniture turned out.

It was a long day, my fingers hurt from using the screwdriver (which came in the box) and tightening screws! But the result was very nice and, in addition, the process was very fun.

This is how the terrace with the small tables and the new tent was conditioned.
