Hive Open Mic week 301 “Y tocando mi guitarra” original song

Hello hello everyone in this beautiful week, I hope you are having a wonderful day, full of blessings, and that you are starting a lovely week. We are already in week 301, and with it came a very beautiful theme.

Today I bring you one of my songs, called “Y tocando mi guitarra.” In it I ask myself what things I would have to do to make someone like me—whether to give them the sun or put the sea inside a bottle. It sounds like a fanciful lyric, but it is a song I wrote with a lot of love a long time ago, and I remember it with great affection.

I wrote these lyrics when I was in high school. At that time I wrote many songs, because I had so much inspiration. Despite the pressure of school, the scholarship, and the trips to Havana on weekends for extra classes, I always managed to find a little time to write. Many times inspiration would come late at night, in the early morning hours, and I would take advantage of that moment to create my compositions.

I have always loved composing. My mom says that when I was little and people took care of me, I used to make up little songs—of course, with children’s things like bunnies, rainbows, and little clouds. But even then, it seems my path toward music was already beginning.

Hola hola a todos en esta hermosa semana, espero que esten teniendo un hermoso dia, lleno de bendiciones y comenzaran una hermosa semana. Estamos ya en la semana 301 y con ella vino un tema muy hermoso.

En el dia de hoy les traigo una cancion mia, que se llama y tocando mi guitarra. En ella me pregunto que cosas tendria que hacer para llegarle a gustar a una persona, si regalarle el sol o echarle en un pomo el mar. Suena a letra fantasiosa , pero es una letra que hice con mucho amor hace mucho tiempo y la recuerdo con cariño.

Esta letra la hice en la secundaria, en ese tiempo hice muchisimas canciones, ya que tenia muchisima inspiracion, y a pesar de la presion de la escuela, la beca, y los viajes a la habana los fines de semana para los repasos, lograba sacar un ratito para escribir, y muchas veces la inspiración llegaba por la noche de madrugada y aprovechaba para hacer mis composiciones.

Siempre me ha gustado componer. Dice mi mama que cuando me cuidaban de pequeña yo me inventaba cancioncitas, claro con cosas de niños como conejitos, arcoiris y nubecitas. Pero ya desde ahi parece que empezaria mi camino hacia la musica.
