Hive Music Festival Semana 155 round 2 “Stand By Me” @rut.hernandez06 esp-eng

Hola hola a todos! Espero que estén muy bien. Llevaba unas semanas ausente ya que mi movil antiguo se rompió y despues cuando ya tenia uno nuevo me enfermé de los riñones pero ya estoy mejor y de vuelta en este maravilloso ambiente de hive y en esta maravillosa comunidad de Music Zone.

Estamos ya en la semana 155 round numero 2 y les traigo la famosa interpretacion de Ben. E. King Stand by me. Estaba sentada en el patio de mi casa, acababa de hacer el almuerzo y pensé en qué mejor cover que esta cancion tan iconica. Pues con el cambio del telefono me mejoró mucho la calidad de video y tambien he decidido hacer cambios en la calidad del audio para darle una mejor experiencia a las personas que miren mis videos.

La cancion Stand By Me la conocía hace mucho pero llegue a aprenderla bien hace dos años al hacer un grupo con varias personas de mi escuela, que aunque no nos presentaramos en ningun lado pues este grupito de musicos soñadores me enseñó muchas canciones y tuve la fuerza de voluntad de aprenderme canciones en otro idioma que no fuera el mio haciendo que me hiciera de un pequeño repertorio de canciones en ingles y español y entre estas se encintraba como ya saben Stand by me.

Yo en este grupo ademas de cantar, tocaba la guitarra y cuando se requeria tocaba el laud. Constaba de un piano de laud/guitarra un clarinete para los solos y la percusion que podia ser un bongó para boleros y otra indumentaria para baladas obviamente. En aquel momento tenia 17 años cursaba el tercer año de mi carrera en musica como laudista y extraño esos momentos a pesar de empezar en una nueva escuela tenia tiempo para aprender compartir con personas y tenia a mi mama mas cerquita de mi.

Espero disfruten de mi interpretacion y agradezco a esta comunidad y artistas que me abren las puertas para mostrar y compartir el arte de la música. Un abrazo enorme y espero que tengan un muy buen fin de semana.

Hello hello everyone! I hope you’re all doing great. I’ve been away for a few weeks because my old phone broke, and just when I got a new one, I fell ill with a kidney issue. But I’m feeling much better now and happy to be back in this wonderful Hive environment and this amazing Music Zone community.

We’re now in week 155, round number 2, and I bring you the famous interpretation of Ben E. King’s Stand by Me. I was sitting in my backyard, had just finished making lunch, and thought—what better cover than this iconic song? With the new phone, the video quality has improved a lot, and I’ve also decided to make changes to the audio quality to give a better experience to those who watch my videos.

I’ve known Stand by Me for a long time, but I really learned it well two years ago when I formed a group with several people from my school. Even though we never performed anywhere, this little group of dreamer musicians taught me many songs, and I had the willpower to learn songs in a language other than my own. That helped me build a small repertoire of songs in both English and Spanish, and among them, as you already know, was Stand by Me.

In that group, besides singing, I played guitar and, when needed, the lute. The group included a piano, lute/guitar, a clarinet for solos, and percussion—which could be bongos for boleros and other instruments for ballads, of course. At that time, I was 17 years old, in my third year of studying music as a lutenist, and I miss those moments. Even though I had just started at a new school, I had time to learn, share with others, and my mom was closer to me.
