The childhood dreams l let go, the life l embraced
Our childhood dreams often reflect our inner most desires and interest. They represent the things we value and the experiences we want to have. As we grow older these dreams often play a significant role in shaping our identity. They help us identify what we are passionate about, what we believe in, and what we want to achieve in life.
Childhood dreams are not just fantasies they can be a powerful tool in shaping your future career. By pursuing your passions gaining relevant education, training and gaining practical experience you can turn your childhood dreams to reality. But in most cases it doesn't turn out the way we want it to be due to one challenge or the other, l would like to share my experience about my childhood dreams.
When l was a child l always wanted to become a lawyer in the future whenever my uncle put on his lawyer outfit to the court l really admire him a lot even my parents was supporting me ensuring that l do well in my education so that l would be able to read law in the university, but things changed when l couldn't meet up with the university cutoff mark for law l wanted to resit again for the examination the following year because l really wanted to study law l believe in myself that l could do it, but my parents said no need they quickly discouraged me that l should just study a course with lower cutoff mark and that was how l end up studying mass communication in the school, l really regretted and feel bad for myself that l wasn't able to achieve my childhood dreams, l really wish l could bring back the time but l had no choice than to let it pass and face the reality that l am a journalist and not a lawyer.
One advice l would really love to give to everybody most especially the younger ones is to be bold, be brave and most importantly be true to yourself the world is waiting to see the wonderful things you can achieve when you're driven by your childhood passion, let's turn those dreams to reality, one step at a time. Today is your day and the future is yours to shape.
Thank you for taking time to read my post, hope to see you again @rukyig blog.

Most tims those dreams die without coming to life, sometimes it's for good and other times it's just lack of patience and persistence

I understand having to switch because one setback or the other. The important thing is that you didn't let it hinder you from pursuing a new path and being successful.

I think if you had some little more support, you might be a lawyer today. Well, life happens. We can't go back in time but we have the future to make better. I like how you made a lesson and advice from it. I believe whatever way things go, we should pick a lesson or two to help others coming up.
