How disappointment led me to an unexpected savior

Disappoinment can be good or bad, but most times it can be a blessing to us, in life whenever our disappoinment turns out to be bad we shouldn't loose hope as it makes us stronger to live ahead. If you have never been disappointed you won't know what is important to you. I've been disappointed and turned down by most people in my life most especially my close friends so l would like to share one of my experience.

My close friend was having her convocation ceremony coming up, so she invited me l didn't want to say no so she won't feel bad, so l agreed and got prepared for the ceremony, she schooled at Benin city and l live in Delta obviously the journey is not that far. l was supposed to take the first bus that morning but on reaching the park the people told me the first bus just left, l got disappointed but still didn't loose hope so l waited for the second bus eventually we left. We were moving just fine not until our driver overtake a trailer coming with full speed and we had a very fatal accident that landed me on the hospital.

I was badly injured but l survived, after treatment the hospital bills came the money l had wouldn't be enough for the bills and my family was not too stable financially so l didn't bother calling them so they won't panic. I called all my close friends everybody kept turning me down, so my only option was this my friend having her convocation ceremony. l called her and told her what happened that l'm stranded at the hospital l can't complete the payment for the bills that she should help me. The next thing she said was she doesn't have any money on her she doesn't have anything to give to me. I knew she was lying that she didn't want to help me, this girl is from a wealthy family she lacked nothing because she always gets what she wants from her parents.

That moment l cried, begged the Doctors and nurses to help me until a young man who came to the hospital to see his mom noticed me and asked what was the matter l told him without any hesitation, before l knew it he consoled me and payed the bills l greeted him and he even gave him a huge sum of money extra to go back home because l didn't have any money on me again. I left happily but l called my friend that l will not be coming again so l then went back to school, because like they always say "A friend in need is a friend indeed".

In other not to get disappointed by people we shouldn't put all our hopes on them. We should not feel bad if we get disappointed by people, because later on the problems and difficulties might turn out to be the best thing that could have happened.
