Accepting Individual Differences || W. E #270

Life itself is sometimes challenging and there are some things that I feel are more complex than it should be. One of which is “Accepting People's Differences”.

Now, I am not generalizing but I believe there are some people who find it difficult to accept people's differences. I mean it shouldn't be that hard right? Seeing as we are different people even right from our physical appearances, so why shouldn't our personalities be different?

Even twins, triplets and other children of multiple birth who sometimes look alike have different personalities.

Trying to make people be like us when they are clearly different shouldn't be encouraged. We should let people be whomever they want to be. We should be able to accept any idea they believe is best for them and not try to find a way to change them.

Some people believe they have cracked the code or perfected the formula that people need to use for every aspect of their lives especially in their relationships all because it works for them.

So they start listing them out and expect everyone to follow them “to a T”, forgetting that our minds don't always work this same way. Forcing people to be like them and invertedly making those people become people they are not.

Some people know their strengths and weaknesses and even if for some reasons they are yet to figure it out themselves then leave them be and allow them to do so.

Everyone is designed to have that inner strength to be able to withstand the challenges life throws at them and we need to be able other people to visualize and think of a way out for themselves and should they require help or any form of assistance and they ask for our opinion, we can then give them if we want to.

Allow people to make their own choices, allow them to make their own mistakes. Allow them to fail because maybe that's what they need to learn,grow and become the best version of themselves. Life itself is already hard, let's not make it more complex.
