How Do I Define Success, my honest take?

source

Success is one word a lot of people see differently. For some, success means being rich, having a good house, nice cars and traveling the world. For others, it can be living a simple life without stress. But for me, success is not just about what I have, but about what I can do for other people without expecting anything in return.

I honestly see success as helping others get what they want, even when they don't have all the qualifications or resources. There are many people who have dreams but they lack support, knowledge or even money. When you help someone in that situation, you become part of their success story and for me that is the highest level of achievement.

Let me give an example. Imagine a young person who wants to start a small business but does not have enough to buy stock. If you can guide the person or give them little support, even if it’s just advice or helping them find customers, you have already played a big role in their growth. That feeling of knowing you helped someone succeed without expecting anything back is priceless.

Another example is in the workplace. Sometimes you see a colleague struggling to understand a task. Instead of ignoring them because it is not your problem, you take time to explain and guide them. You might not realize it, but that simple act can make them better and also create a positive environment.

Success to me is not a destination. It is a journey and every time I add value to someone’s life, I feel I have moved forward. I don’t measure success by how much money I have, because money can finish. But the impact you make in people’s lives will always remain.

So what do I do to make this happen? I try to share knowledge anytime I can. If I learn something useful, I teach others. If someone is trying to learn a skill I know, I don’t keep it to myself. Another thing I do is encourage people. Sometimes, people just need someone to believe in them. Simple words like “you can do it, can go a long way.

Lastly, I try to stay humble because success without humility can turn into pride. When you help others, do it from your heart, not because you want attention. That is the real meaning of success for me.

So to anyone reading this, think about success as something bigger than yourself. It is not just what you get, but what you give out to the world.

You are right, success is when you can help others with whatever you own.

But in today's world, when you take care of another person's needs they use you only as long as they need you and then stop contacting. Even in your worse condition they'll never show you sympathy.
