We Got Caught in the Rain While Shopping, Biscuits in a Tub, and Cute and Tiny Mushrooms in an Old Wood

It's been raining at our place for days now. It's not the heavy kind of rain, but there are times that we'll experience a heavy one, especially at night. In the daytime, the sky will turn darker and the cold wind will spread in the surroundings. With the sunny weather we had last week, this kind of weather is what we long for, and we are really thankful now for these wonderful blessings. I like this kind of weather, it's just lightly cold and everything is wet.

Now we can conserve more energy, and I hope our electricity bill will go down a little too. With the high heat index in the past week, we have had to use more electric fans just to ease the heat surrounding our home. Even at night, the heat is just too much, so we use our e-fan almost all night. My mini e-fan is not enough anymore to ease down the heat. So we are really thankful for this kind of weather. How's the weather in your place?

Anyway, while we were in the market yesterday, we were caught up by the rain, and unfortunately, we didn't have an umbrella to protect ourselves from getting wet. It's a good thing, though, that I am wearing my cap. Mama, well, she's a healthy woman, so I'm sure she won't be affected by that little rain. And she said it herself, that it is nothing and that I should worry more about myself. Which is true because I'm weak and can easily get sick with just a little rain. But lucky for me, it didn't happen.

On our way home, we stop by a pharmacy and a grocery store. Mama had to buy medicine for her doggo, and while we're in there, I'm trying to remember what I wanted to buy in a pharmacy, but I can't remember anymore. Only when I'm finally home will I be able to remember it. Aigooo, I can feel my age now. So at the grocery store, Mama bought detergent powder and shampoo. There's actually a lot of customers inside, so I waited for more than two minutes outside.

And while waiting, I noticed those big tubs of biscuits. I remember that we can only eat that when Mom decides to buy it. And because we had a bakery before, Mom preferred her own baked bread to some biscuits. But you know, having this is kind of different, especially for my young mind. I can eat bread anytime, but not this. So I always wish to have this kind of biscuit at home. They are good biscuits for snacks or breakfast. Anyone who has a story about this tub of biscuits?

On our way home, look how dark the sky is. We waited for another minute just until the rain stopped, and lucky for us, the rain stopped. Mama is already walking fast because she knows that the rain will surely make a strong comeback later. And it really happened. It's like the rain just gave us a few minutes so that we could go home to prepare our lunch, lol. And oh, I saw a mirror on the way, so I couldn't help but have a mirror shot. That's my outfit from yesterday.

And because of the constant rain, maybe that's the reason why those little thing sprout in this old wood. They are so cute and tiny that I couldn't help but take a photo of them. This old wood was actually Nonoy's (chicken pet) spot. And I saw him when I visited Nonoy. You can't spot it from a distance, but if you move closely, you'll surely notice it.

Here's a macro shot for a detailed photo of what's inside. My phone's camera is just so low quality that it is not as clear as I intended it to be. But you can still clearly see it, right? Those mushrooms has like a sheet pattern on the inside.

And so, after our visit to the market, I also had a great time in our yard while enjoying the cold breeze that this gloomy weather has brought. Walking in this kind of weather is so much better when it is too hot, too bright, and too sunny.
