Watching Mama's Eggplant Glow After Having Its First Buds: Exciting Moments in Having a Garden at Home
Mama's like a kid when she shared about it to me (≧▽≦). I can sense how much happy and excited she is, even I am excited about it -I can't wait to see them grow. And mama has something to look forward even more, bot just her papaya, bell peppers and red chillies. Seriously, having a mini garden is just so fun and though it is small, once we see a new sprout of whatever, thats already enough to make us feel so excited.
So I took this last February 23, when Mama told me about the said "sprout." She Was so excited that I was expecting a cute lil purple eggplants but it is just this. Its my bad for thinking that it will already sprout an eggplant. I think my common sense back then "cannot be found" or in "error" lol. Flowers should comes first before the fruit! Lol. And this took me a minute before I found it coz it is really tiny. Lol.
February 25, its growing a little and starting to unravel some beauty inside of it. By the way, this is just on one tree, the other eggplant which mama move before has not showing any sprout yet.
February 26, here comes a beautiful purple flowers, small and its getting lively already.
And here's a second sprout and on different stem, still tiny because well, its a new one. Hihi.
February 27, after just one day, it finally bloom and shows it's beauty. Like, it is so pretty light purple. Just crazy how fast it progress. Hehe. And I had fun snapping photos of it as I watch it bloom. UwU
Then March 1, its flower is also growing beautifully, maybe with enhance purple color too? The weather that day is kinda bad so the eggplant got a shower too, and a nice one. UwU
And so today, March 4, its flowers started to wither. This is a good sign yeah? What's next is the eggplant already? What do you think?
And for the second sprout of it... Oopsie, excuse us, let my baby Basteng cuteness blind y'all, haha. He is just on the way...i mean, he followed me here so I can't help but snaps some of his photos as well. Lol. Cutie lalabs! ෆ╹ .̮ ╹ෆ
So here's its second sprout, it will bloom too soon, thats for sure. Maybe we can see its flower tomorrow ＼(^o^)／
And actually, here's more. Guess we can see more flowers in it soon (^._.^)ﾉ. can't wait!
And of course, I will continue watching this plant even until it started to bear it's fruits. I am also looking forward for the other eggplant tree just near this one. That one is still small but I hope it also started to sprout soon. Mama's happiness will surely double. ( ◜‿◝ )♡

eggplant season na ngaaa! i also have eggplants in the lab and it's been growing really small ones lately. i think it di na mataba yung lupa na taniman namin 🥲
Ehhhh, baka need na ng mga Organic na fertilizer like balat ng banana ganern. Naglalagay ang mama ng ganon eh
hmmm siguro kasi nilalagay nila egg shells tas coffee grinds pa pero baka beed din ng food waste
For me, eggplant is one of the hardest plant to grow from seeds. Sometimes, seeds don't even germinate. If I could transplant naman I need to protect from insects. But this is the most useful plant for personal consumption.
Ehhhh, this one kasi nong binili namin is seedlings na sya, naka tubo na I think mga 3 inch tall na sya that time. Hehe. Now i'm curious if mama is kayang magpatubo nito from the seeds. 🤔
