Visiting a Pasalubong Center in Gloria for their Special Cheesy Buko Pie (the small version)

Aside from meeting my niece and nephew, there's actually one more thing that I'm looking forward to going to, Gloria. There's a "pasalubong center" near the market and the terminal where we can find "buko pie." I think the last time I had it was last year. I don't even have a photo of it because I was too excited to eat it. Lol. I discovered their delicious buko pie when I went there to visit the kids. It caught Mama's attention, so we checked on it, and when we asked, it was really affordable, for 20 pesos, you can have a fresh-baked Buko Pie.

So it's a nice day, and we went there hoping that their Buko Pie is available because. I've been craving it for a very long time now. We're waiting for a tricycle here that can take us to the highway where that Pasalubong Center is located.

After a minute of the ride, we finally arrive. This is what's in front of that shop. It's Gloria's market, and on the other side was the terminal for a tricycle or a forland. And next to this shop was the BigMak, it's a burger stand. We have a branch of it in Bansud too, but Angel's Burger is still the best. Sorry, BigMak ( ꈍᴗꈍ), but I love their pizza. I am not sure, though, if their pizza still tastes the same as before. But I hope so.

And here's the Pasalubong Center. They don't really have a name, I think. I am not sure if it's them who bake their buko pie, but maybe. Their buko pie has a name, though, it's called R Jay's Special Buko Pie. And seriously though, their Buko Pie is the best! It is cheesy and really creamy. And that's why I miss it.

Anyways, aside from Buko Pie, these are the other Pasalubong that you can get in their shop. There's actually a lot. These are the kind of take-homes that kids would love to receive from their parents who had a vacation somewhere. There's a lot of sweets and "kutkutin." \(^o^)/

They also have banana chips here as well as banana crackers. I am curious about that Banana Crackers, but I couldn't inspect it more because I am more focused on the Buko Pie. Ehe. And yep, those are the boxes of their Buko Pies. But what we wanted to buy was the small version, so we asked them about it. Bad, sad news, the small version already ran out, and there's only that big buko pie, which costs 250 pesos.

Sadly, I only have 100 in my pocket because I used my money for the kids, haha. I thought I would be able to buy a piece of Buko Pies, so I didn't bother withdrawing money. The toxic side of me was so mad at those people who bought the small pies before us, lol - I'm really just annoyed because I don't have enough money in my pocket to get it. Aigooo. We travel back home without the Buko Pie. And I am really excited to bring some home for the oldies. Huhu

Next time, I'll surely get that! It's a promise └( ^ω^)」! I really really want to eat it again. ಥ‿ಥ

It's really good especially if the buko they used is real young and soft.

I enjoy going to pasalubong centers. I get excited to see the different local delicacies of the place. Looking at these goodies remind me of my mother. She used to bring pasalubong whenever she visited us, or when she went to see her relatives, they also looked forward to her goodies. Buko pie is something to be excited of; especially if the crust is flaky and blends well with the buko cream topping.
