Trying Different Brands of Ice Cream for the First Time: Let's Beat the Heat with This Choco Sundae

This kind of weather is seriously exhausting and energy-consuming, just being outside is like being drained, and that's where laziness will come in, lol. This high heat index right now is seriously a mood killer, we can't even go outside that often for a short walk because you'll get dizzy just being out for a few minutes. Aigooooo. But the good thing is, we have ways to lessen the heat. One is to take a bath, spend time in your air conditioning room (sana all, lol), or eat cold foods, like ice cream. Ehe.

I know I promised that I will stop now to eat sweet and cold drinks after getting a nasal polyp surgery, but some promises are meant to be broken, so, o-- errr, I mean, this time, I get this ice cream for free, and y'all know that it's rude to say no to foods, no? Well, actually, this is just me being stubborn. I don't eat those that often, and I know my limit, so having them once or 10 times is not a sin, right? Lolol.

I know it's bad and can trigger something, but it's delicious, so I indulged with the cravings and had a bite of this. It's just a buko, or coconut-flavored, ice candy that Mama bought for our neighbor. It looks so creamy that I can't help but ask Mama for a small portion of it. I blame Mama here (≧▽≦), it only happened because she brought this home, where I can see it and where I'll be tempted to taste it (≧▽≦). But of course I'm just making excuses here ಥ‿ಥ.

Another blessing has arrived, so who am I to say no? Lol. These actually came into this newly opened shop in front of us, they called it "Albertha's Sweet Gelato," a shop that specializes in some ice cream. They also have other products, like this waffle with cream on top, which is okay too, just too sweet for me, I just don't like the heaviness of its sweetness. As for those mango-graham shakes, where you can taste the mango and grahams, they're also good, and I enjoyed them. Mommy F bought this, and even though I'm still not okay after my last confinement, I still indulge the cravings because, why not? Lol. But actually, that milkshake is not that cold, so it's still okay.

And then here's another, it's a treat from Mommy F again. She bought this because she felt really bad that day. This one's enough to feel a bit chilly, but it'll be better if we could eat it without minding our throats. And this is actually the first time that we have tried this brand. I didn't know that this brand is this good, unlike the other brand i know, it's good too, but I feel like their ice cream is all a foam of something, very different from the dirty ice creams and this brand when it comes to texture too.

This brand is real, it's not too sweet, and you can taste real chocolate in it. It's a little bitter, but the kind of bitterness that everyone will like. Why didn't I try this brand before? I also tried their other ice cream in a cone, with strawberry flavors, and it tasted good too, it's one of my favorite flavors on this brand. I also like their fruit ice cream. I already tried the pineapple flavor, and it's just so refreshing, you can really taste the pineapple in it. This is a good ice cream brand.

Anyway, the ice cream is so good that I thought the ice cream in the cup was too little. No, no, no, to tell you the truth, it tastes so good that I think I can eat two more of this. But as I've said, I know my limit, so that's the end of that. But I'll surely try this again. I'm not sure if they have other flavors, but I want to try it too if they do.

With the high heat index the Philippines is currently experiencing, a cold drink or food like ice cream is good during this kind of weather. Too bad having it every day is bad for the health (≧▽≦).
