Today's KAKANIN Day! A Short but Sweet Adventure With Mama
I am dead set on buying some "Kakanin" today. I am seriously just craving for some of it and I am really just glad that there are some restaurant that sells it now though I am also sure that they just ordered them too somewhere, still, i'm very glad. At least they are always available for us \(^o^)/.

So yeah, we're on our way to the market now. I won't be buying anything except cooked vegetable and of course the kakanin. Ahhh, by the way, I am carrying an eco bag now after they implemented a "no plastic" policy here in our town, removing plastic and all and use only a reusable bags. We're following that though its hard to completely remove it. There are still some store that use it especially for wet items. We just hid them in our eco bag ಥ‿ಥ. And yes, it's that green eco bag on the photo.

So we're on our way to the first restaurant, we used the shortcut of course. While in there I can't help but noticed the water pump. I guess someone still use it. There's a house and a restaurant on this part but they love somewhere, it's actually just nearby.

We're the market this time, Mama couldn't find a dish that she like on the first restaurant. But I bought Ginataang Sitaw and Kalabasa in there. While she bought Ginataang Gabi on the carinderia on this part of the market. There's one fruit stand in there that sells fruits. Its rambutan season now but the only rambutan I want to eat is the one in Aunt Velyn garden. Sadly they already harvested all of them, but happy me coz I get to eat them too when she brought some at home ♪ \(^ω^\ ).

So anyways, I didn't buy much though just a few. Although I am craving for them today, it doesn't mean I should stuff myself with these especially if I know that this is bad for my stomach, lol. I ate all of them with the oldies ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ

First is a Tamales, a Pair cost 10 pesos only. This is actually cheap, I only bought it actually coz it's not that pricey. And it comes with the sweet roasted coconut ( /^ω^)/♪♪

Next is the Espasol, I missed it! This one is not as soft as what Mommy D made before but it's good too. In fact I like it very much! It's sweet but not that sweet. (^._.^)ノ

Lastly, a Sapin Sapin. This one is not that chewy which make it easier to chew. If it's too chewy, I really need to chew it well or else my stomach will act up again. Lol. Its really good with the roasted coconut \(◎o◎)/. It has less sugar than the rest, really goes well with the sweet roasted coconut. I actually bought the espasol and this sapin sapin on the same stall but tamalis was from a different one.
All of them are good and I should buy kakanin again, hmmmm, maybe after a month? But wait, I actually had kakanin or Bibingka the other day. Ahhh, still, there kakanin at made of glutinous rice while the Bibingka is from regular rice, so it's kinda different. Either way, I enjoy the walk to the market, and most especially the Kakanin. Yum yum! (✿^‿^)

What is espasol made of? Parang Hindi ako familiar SA espasol pero mukhang masarap😬
Sa glutinous rice flour din sya gawa. Ying iba nilalahukan ata ng flour para di sya super soft. Masarap to sabay coat sa roasted glutinous rice flour
Is like you enjoyed them?
Yes! A lot. Hehe
Really appreciate you carrying an eco bag! It's not easy to not using plastic at all, but I'm pretty sure reducing it isn't so impossible, right? :) oh and why sapin-sapin looks very pretty, what it made from?
Parang ang sarap tuloy kumain Ng kanin dear hahha.
Makahanap nga rin dito bukas. Hahaha
