The Beauty of Giant Crepe-Myrtle: Finally Got a Closer Look at Banaba Flowers that Fall Into the Ground Because of a Heavy Rain

I'm really happy right now, i mentioned this on my recent article, it's about the Banaba Tree near our house and how it's blooming flowers but only at the top part. On the lower part, it is all just leaves. But those leaves are really helpful to us too, the oldies and even mama boil some of those leaves to drink.

I've been curious about that tree since it suddenly appear or sprout on this part of our land. Mama knows it and I asked her before if Banaba Tree bloom some flowers too? And if it is, does it grow some fruit too? She said yes. And i'm still curious because during that time the tree is already big but no sight yet of its flowers or its fruits. I was like a kid back then innocently asking Mama. I should already know the answer but that time, I am kind of "lutang?" Haha. We all have that moment no? Asking question but the brain is actually not braining or it is out of coverage area at the moment. Lol.

I continue asking Mama about it and in the end, she just said, "It is still young so of course it won't bloom any flowers yet." Hahaha. Stupid me, that's so obvious no? Lol. But anyways, I got my answer and since then I was so excited and always looking forward for that day, for the day that it will finally bloom it's first flowers. I actually look it up on google, I mean it's flowers, and my, it is a real beauty. And that is why I am excited for that day to come. And the wait is finally over, but bad news, the flowers are too far away from me, it's on top that I can't see it very well.

See, no flowers, and it sad. I can't clearly see the flowers which I've been waiting for so long. I really thought it will bloom like that if cherry blossoms, but sadly, my expectation is just too high.

But then, days after it's flowers blooms, it is been raining real hard here in our place and due to that, some flowers started to fall and I am so glad that I check it that time.

Because lookie lookie...

It is purplish and it seriously beautiful! It is kinda small but small but pretty. I feel like this will look good as a decoration in our hair no? I can imagine it, OMG!

I zoom it in and it looks like it has grass inside, or kind of like a hairy part inside

What stand out the most of this flower was its details. It just looks unique, with the base, the grass like inside of it then the petals. Everything about this fkowers is just wonderful! So glad to finally see this in person. I am just not sure if it has smell, maybe or maybe not. I forgot to ask Mama to smell it for me..

But this one is a little fragile though. I didn't even touch it that hard but the petals just started ro fall off. And so I also take a photo if its tint petals. So cute

So, I first heard about Banaba in some ads in a radio, it's a supplement and they mention banaba as one of the key ingredients. I heard about it but I never know how it looks like. Only when this tree sprout in our land that I finally see it's looks. And this is also my first time seeing it's flowers.

By the way, let me also share this i terracing plants that I saw on the ground, not sure what kind of plant it is though. Do you know?

The rain was helpful in making the banaba flower to fall so that you can pick it, maybe the rain knew how much you needed to touch the banaba flower’s, go ahead and placed it on your hair, purple are good on hair.

I think the rain did a great job. It helped the flowers to bloom out and that is very good. I love them! They look nice, and the colour purple is amazing.

Yep, yep, it helps a lot. And it is really a good thing That I visit the spot where it was planted. If i'm a bit late, they'll go dry because it's really hot during day time. It rains at midnight then the next morning, its super hot ⟵(o_O) . Aigooo

im curious to see what fruit this banaba tree can produce ahaha, also why does it only bloom on top? it should be in the whole treee so you can have those cherry blossom vibes ahaha

Aha! Your wish has been granted, sis! Ang ganda rin ng bulaklak nya. Paano na kaya kung dumami bulaklak ng puno, para sigurong cherry blossoms na sa malayuhan hehe.
