Remembering Just the Good Times: School Parade and the Feelings of Nostalgia I Got Watching It
Today's visit in the market is kinda different, it's fun and seeing the kids on that parade made me remember my time as one of the "student" that attends different kinds of event in school. That's the time that i'm most excited because it's "fun time" and no "study time." Like i'm just a kid who enjoyed playing in that moment of my teens so of course i'm happy when there's no classes. Lol.

Anyways, it's supposed to be just a normal day, that one typical day without any "ganap." We're going to the market but had to stop by in the pharmacy first. Mama noticed the sandwich the pharmacy's selling so she asked for the price of it. One cost 30 pesos or $0.52. The bread they used in there I think is that whole wheat bread. It has ham and cheese I think with that white sauce, I think its mayo. It's half of the bread and It's 30. Looks masarap but our poor selves just can't buy it. Lol. Saduuuu

After stopping by in the pharmacy, we then took this route to get to the market. And that's when I saw an ongoing parade. I'm not sure yet what kind of event this school is celebrating but my guess is it is their Foundation Day. And I was right.

It is already their 74th Founding Anniversary, I think Bansud Institute is a private school. I didn't attend my high school in that school even though it's just a minute walk from home. I went to public school which is 10 minutes walk from home, or maybe more. It's a long walk but I enjoy those walk because I get to walk with my other classmates. There are times that if I have some money, we'll ride in a tricycle together with my classmates and those are really unforgettable moments for me.

And so, they are planning to parade in the market, this is also what we did back then. The only problem you'll face here is the heat. But actually, they are luckier because they don't have to walk longer. While our school was on the other barangay, we have to walk from there to the town center and parade in circle until we go back to the school. Its maybe exhausting but still fun. Ehe

We arrived in the market and look how every people there are watching, yes, the fish and meat sellers are also watching. As for us we only watched a few minutes then proceed buying all the things we need.

And that's not the end because there's another parade in the afternoon. It's a parade from different school in the whole province of Mindoro. I couldn't see the banner of what kind of event it is though. This is the perk of living near highway coz they will always take this way to parade.

This one is a long parade, some had drum and lyres and it's a mixed of elementary and high school I think. Some are in costume as well. ♪┌|∵|┘♪
And so yeah, this quick visit to the market is really fun. I also reminisce a bit because of it. It's just so good to look back on those moments with a happy heart. And I kinda miss it, my friends and ganapan at the back of our school after the tiring events, the fun games, the joke time and the love talk moments. I have a lot of those during that time. I'm not the storyteller though but my friends (^._.^)ノ.

Seeing those students parade really makes me miss my school days and all the fun that came with them. I miss those moments whenever we have an event at school we would parade under the scorching sun but despite the heat it comes with so much fun! Those silly photographs posted on the school's page also what makes it more funny, lol. Now that we're currently having an online class, it made me miss those times. I used to hate those moments but now—mapapa buntong hininga nalang talaga ako haha
Although being a student is also really stressful but we can't deny the fact na masaya din talagang maging student. Legit yong sa gitna ng kainitan, tuloy ang parade. Lol.
Oh yeah, those photos, we don't have those back then 😭. Oh online class now, for the students safety no. Maigi at inaksyunan din agad yong hiling ng mga parents.
Remembering good old days ma'am @ruffatotmeee It's kinda great to see students enjoying the parade even under the sun.

Thankssssss, and it always fun to remember those times no. 💃
Pg may program Dati at shortened classes Yan ang gusto Namin. Hindi na attend Ng program. Mg over the bakod na😁
Hahaha, ay diko na try yang mag over the bakod coz ayaw ko talagamg uuwi agad sa bahay. Mas prefer ko tumambay sa school 😂
I love school events with parades, mostly because it usually means no classes 😆 But what I love even more is seeing so many familiar faces along the way. Most of our relatives live along the parade route so I’d often spot them and they’d hand me snacks while we were walking. Free snacks under the sun! 😆 Though sometimes I couldn’t grab any since I was part of the drum and lyre band. Nakakamiss tuloy! Thanks for sharing this Ruffa, it really brought back those fun school memories!
Wahhhh, now that's really nice experience ang cute lang coz all out support relatives mo even simply handing snacks or water is really a big help talaga no. Mauuhaw ka talaga sa haba ng lakad during that time but still really a fun experience. Kami noon bili lang ng ice tubig sa madaanan sa sari sari store hahaha, piso pa isa now dos na ata. Lol.
So glad to hear that it made you remember that school memories of yours ✨💃
HAHAHA ang saya Lang talaga kapag may ganitong event Dati e, kanya-kanyang lakad rin kasama kaibigan 🤣
Hahaha diba, after or with the ongoing events we can just choose to sit around and magpakuya kuyakoy with friends. Haha
HAHAHA oo tas kahit Saan na pumunta pwede 😅 nakakamiss!😆

Same thought! I love the idea of NO class.
Just buy bread and make your own sandwich. I do that sometimes because it's expensive to buy outside.
That's remind me to buy Ham or perhaps Maling na lng
Will make sandwiches tom
