Photographs and Amazing Nature: Our Squash Was Destroyed by the Heavy Rain and Strong Wind, Thankfully, It's Not Completely Washed Out.

When I saw another two big squash in Mama's garden, I got too excited that I just had to take photo of it. To be honest, if not with the strong rain every night, it will bear more fruit in it because there's already a lot of young squash sprouting in it. And with all the bright yellow flowers growing, we can expect more from it, if only... But, yeah, rain happened and it's sad but we can't really do something about it. We can just hope that even one or two fruit will be left in there, that would make us happy too.

So it's just one peaceful day, and as you can see, the weather is good too. I had my walk here together with the pets. And then Mama pointed out the two Squash growing in the yard. I got so excited and check it immediately.

Lookie! Lookie! Look how beautifully they grown are. We can for sure harvest it already, base on the skin. And just like the first time we harvested it, it would be of a good quality, with soft and creamy texture. I really love it when we cook it to make a dish for lunch. Mama really got the best seed of squash in here. And just like the oldies, she just throw seeds in the backyard and wait for it to sprout on it's own.

Mama actually harvested one of the two, and here's what it looks like. Look at the quality of it. It's thick and really fresh. It's hard to find something like this in the market now.

And so, heres the sad news now ,two days after taking this photos, our Squash now look like this. It is due to the heavy rain from the night accompanied with the strong wind. No choice, Mama had to harvest the other one from the two big squash while the rest, or the small sprout was also washed out from it's stem. It's really sad.

Here's a little good news, there still some squash seedlings left but it is on the ground together with the dweet potato leaves. It's not blooming any flower yet and I think it will take a little time before it sprout. Because with the kind of weather we have right now, it's just impossible to grow it consistently. But we're hopeful that we can harvest some squash again, soon. <( ̄︶ ̄)>

By the way, let me just share a photo that I randomly took. They are some old stuffs but still useful in some other things. Were supposed to throw them out already but Mama decided not to. ಥ‿ಥ

It's so sad because some parts of the squash was dying. And young squash are on its way to grew bigger. Sometimes rain is destructive but thankfully it didn't washed out everything.

Sana nga mamulaklak pa, may it's been a long time na pero ang unti pa rin nila till now. Unlike before they spread really fast.

Squash today is very expensive in market. It’s so sad that the squash that you planted are dying. Hopefully the other squash seedlings will grow healthier!

Yeah, it's helpful that we have them in our yard. Hopefully they will start to sprout again. We're just waiting patiently for it.
