Not a Perfect Weekend, But It's a Good Day: Getting an Anti-Tetanus Shot for Mama and the Delicious Pasalubong We Received From a Relative, From Daing to Dried Squid to Dragon Fruits
I finally had the chance to taste a dragon fruit. Mommy D's niece visit us today and brought a lot of delicious things, there's some daing, dried squid, chicken longganisa, bananas and dragon fruits -really a lot! We're so grateful to them because they never forget Mommy D who's living here in Bansud with us. Such a sweet family
I'm actually not home when they visit here. I'm with Mama because we had to go to the Community Bongabong to get anti tetanus injection for her. Sadly, Mama accidentally step on a rusty nail. And she's feeling pain and discomfort from it since last night. It happened while she's feeding her pets. She didn't saw that one rusty nail on the way. She just clean it with soap and put alcohol on it yesterday.
We don't need to go to Bongabong if only our health center has anti tetanus injection. But according to some nurse, they already run out of it. So no choice we have to look to the next Municipality which is in Bongabong. We just asked some driver that can drive Mommy F's motorcycle and we went there early in the morning. Mama got her injection and go back home immediately.
We stay in the Community for one and half an hour I think, Mama got two injection in total -one on the left and and another one on the right arm. She also got a prescriptions, one anti inflammatory and for the pain. Aigoooo, and they are all not free. I think we spent more than $20 including the payment for the driver and the meds. I thought anti tetanus shot is free in a government hospital, so why... (╥﹏╥). Anyways, I just wish for Mama's fast recovery and for that pain to go away (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)
Now, let's go back with the goods we received from Mommy D's niece. It became our lunch today so let me share them. We have chicken longganisa, oh how I miss longganisa! I can't have them all the time now because my favorite brand of this is a bit pricey now. Same with Tocino and Skinless Longganisa. They are really good with rice. Right? Then we have the daing or dried fish. Not sure what kind of fish it is. And lastly the dried squid. We don't eat this that often but we like this too. It's good with fried rice! We enjoy our lunch thanks to this. And with our leftovers of Nilagang Baboy, it became even more delicious. Nom, nom!
And about the dragon fruit, sadly, I couldn't taste it, couldn't even smell it. But, I like the color of it. I also like the texture of its flesh. And the seeds, omg the seeds, it's crunchy, why is that? It's good, whenever I can get one of the seed, I can't help but bite it to feel its crunch haha, it's cute. How I wish I can taste and smell it, huhu.
Anyways, that's what happened today. And we're still have no electricity in our place, actually, in our whole province. It's really sad and for sure lots of business was affected too. This morning, I tried this charging station to charge my other phone, it cost me 20 pesos. I don't really want to spend more because I'd rather use it to something more useful and meaningful. So I might not be as active as before here Because I want to save my battery. But hopefully, they can repair the electric poles sooner so that we can finally enjoy the night with lights.

The blackout is tough and charging isnt cheap, but a plate of longganisa with rice really lifts the day.

Ayos naman na, nakakalakad na ng maayos. Maigi at maagap kami kahapon, nakapag pa inject agad at naka take ng meds.
Pero sa totoo lang mangha ako da seeds nya haha ang crunchy parang gang pinipig haha.
Buti nalang Hindi rin matigas ulo ni mader mo at Hindi niya hinayaan yung sugat niya. Makakahinga na rin talaga Ng maayos kapag nakainom na ng gamot at nainject na ano, kahit papano Hindi na mag aalala sa sugat.
Haha same sa unang tikim ko niyan, chaka ang lambot na pag nginuya hahha..
