Mom's Happy Garden and the HPUD: Wasted Squash Blossoms and the New Grass in the Garden for Our Cats and the Dogs

Beige Simple Frame Nature Photo Collage_20250401_161127_0000.png

Mama's really sad because the squash blossoms in her garden keep on dropping due to the rain every night. It's heavy and can really destroy some plants, and that's what happened to her squash.

Mama's really excited about it, especially when she saw it started to bloom. I'm excited about it too, even though I'm not the one who planted it. Lol. It's just sad that it keeps on happening, but I guess that's really how it is, the life of a squash.

On the other hand, some plants in the yard are for sure happy with the rain every night for three nights straight. And after the heavy rain at night, here comes the intense heat that can almost roast skin in the day. It's crazy how the weather was right now. Anyways, here's the sweet potato leaves crawling on the ground so freely. After just a week there's a lot of them already. But Mama wants its roots, so she's not harvesting its leaves right now and just letting it spread in there. ᕦ⊙෴⊙ᕤ

And it's because of the rain why there's a lot of wild plants sprouting in the yard near the sweet potato leaves. Although they look cute, if we leave them be, they might turn into a bush, and that would be a lot of work for sure later on.

But there's this one grass that Mama purposely planted in the yard because of its medicinal benefits. Dogs and cats eat it if they have no appetite. We just observe it, but this is the grass they eat whenever they have a stomach problem. I'm really not sure, though, what its uses are to them, but after they consume it, they will vomit it. Then the next day they'll be okay again and will run around again like they just didn't make their hooman worry, lol.

Aside from the fact that they like eating this grass, they also love to lay down in it, and because of that, the grass will turn bad and will start to dry. Though it's easy to grow, they can be easily killed too. This grass really just cool, they have a lot of use for our cat and dogs, lol. Do you also have this grass in your home?

Anyways, let me just give you an update on this chili pepper. They're turning red now, Mom already harvested a lot of it, and it's still giving more chilies to Mom. We don't have to buy this at the market because we already have it in the garden. It's amazing (ノ゚0゚)ノ→.

By the way, today's April 1, and I'm sure y'all already know that today's Hive Power Up Day. Did you already power up some Hive? I just did mine a while ago. And I am so happy to share my HP's growth. I'm still far from my 7k HP goal, but we'll get there too, soon. I'm not in a hurry, so I'm just enjoying my time here while doing things at my own pace.

Happy Power Up Day!

What a pity what happens with squash, but the weather is like that, it harms some plants and benefits others, it is difficult to plant varieties when the weather is so unstable, well, they are warnings that something is wrong...

Yeah, it can't be helped. We can just hope that this remaining blossoms won't be destroyed anymore. Amd yeah, they are really like warnings. Like something has to change.

Our cat also named Ginger (my daughter gave the name) Relate to the cats who eats the grass when their stomach is upset, after they ate grass, they will be okay. You had plenty of veggies in your garden, its healthy and save money no need to buy in the market.

Are they also eating the same grass? This grass's really cool. You should also share about your cat one of these day in the HivePet community.💃💃✨
