Would you choose a little happiness but suffer after, or would you stick to what's right and not experience your worst nightmare? This has always been a question I had to ask myself when I craved food, particularly foods that contain dairy that trigger my post-nasal drip. I had to weigh everything first and see if I was ready with the setback later. I mean, experiencing a post-nasal drip is seriously my worst nightmare. It is not just a pain in the arse because it can sometimes trigger a panic attack too. Although I can still control myself if that happens, it's still scary.

But you know, food is life, so how am I going to just ignore all the yummy food in the world? I think it is okay to experience and just suffer later. At least I enjoyed it. Lol. So yep, I would choose that, but not all the time. Only if the food is worth it and if it's the yummy one. Just like this bottle of chocolate spread, which is like a cheap imitation of Nutella. I first tasted this when I went to Lipa. My little brother has it in his room, and that's actually one of the things that caught my attention when we arrived. When I saw it, my mouth watered, and I really wanted to get a bun that moment to have it as a snack. Lol

The next day, in the morning, I had the chance to try it, and it's actually too sweet for me. I feel like I am eating sugar, lol. But as I ate more, I slowly started appreciating the taste. I remember Goya with it. It tastes like chocolate for sure, but just too sweet. So eating it with bread is a no for me. I thought it would taste better with a little salty cracker, so I tried it with a cracker. (◕ᴗ◕✿)

So I chose Skyflakes ┏(^0^)┛. I bought this in Mindoro as a snack while traveling, and it became our snack in Batangas too(◔‿◔). And trying this chocolate spread with these salty crackers is the best thing I did. They are perfect together, I tell yah ┐( ̄ヘ ̄)┌! Because the crackers are a little salty, it helps to reduce the overly sweet taste of the chocolate spread. (ノ゚0゚)ノ→

I didn't put much spread in it either, just a thin layer, it's just right, the perfect amount of chocolate spread. I enjoyed it a lot. I told Mama how good it is with the crackers, and it became her instant favorite after that. I bought one bottle of it in Dali Store so that we could bring it home, but then we consumed half of it while staying in Lipa, so I bought another bottle of it. Lol. I brought it home, and the oldies really enjoy it too. When we got home, I didn't eat it because I know what my limit is. Lol.

I feel you. I too sometimes can't control my cravings even though I know it's not good for me. But it's just sad that you get to experience pain after the enjoyment you had. I pray for your healing...I hope you can enjoy more yummy food without anything to worry about. 🙏
