Home Surrounded with Green: Sad Story About Our Calamansi Tree, The Continuous Growth of Our Squash, and Mama's Tasty Lunch With Bihod (Fish Roe)

Mama really cut the Calamansi Tree in the yard near the Atis Tree (╥﹏╥). I decided to stay in the garage like the usual and that's when I noticed it. And when I heard her reason as to why she cut it, I was really shock and I just want to give mom a soft flick in her forehead, like seriously ( ꈍᴗꈍ).

There it is, according to mama, a plants with sour taste and planted facing the window is bad as it brings bad luck. Like, what's the connection of the window with these plants? The poor calamansi got cut just because of that reason, so mababaw. So I asked Mama, where did she get that information and she answer, "I saw it in Youtube." And my reaction was like this: ಠ﹏ಠ.

I was shock and a bit annoyed too. That's actually the first time I heard about that kind of beliefs, but maybe it's a thing to some people with their beliefs and mama decided to believe in it too. Aigoooo, do you have this kind of beliefs too? By the way, here's where the calamansi tree was planted, it is seriously facing the window, but so what? Just why (╥﹏╥)???

Anyways, I just continue my walk in the backyard despite my annoyance. Better just look around and enjoy the walk than dwell on what already happened. Walking in there helps change my mood, I also noticed that Mama made some changes in her garden byt moving this plants near the Santan Plant. She said she had to move it because the heat emitting by the sunlight is too much for the plants, they may die.

And good news guys, the valencia tree is now bearing more fruits. Soon, it'll give us more just like the Valencia Tree in Mommy D's house na hitik sa bunga. There's actually a lot more at the top but I can't get a good photos of it. Waiting for this tree to bear fruits is definitely worth it.

And let me just share this photos from three days ago. Mama is so proud and happy that I check it the other day. It still so small three days ago but look at the progress in just a short time...

Tadaaaaa! Good thing it didn't fall just like what happened to the other blossoms. Mom's really sad because lots of it got wasted especially when it rains at night. She can already make one dish with this small one, good for one person. But Mama said she'll wait before she harvest it.

Anyways, Mama joined me after a while. She finished making her lunch so she decided to hangout here with us. And Nikka's with me too the whole time, she's walking with me. She's seriously a great companion, she's also in an adventure while we're having a walk in here. ┏(＾0＾)┛

After spending a little more time in the yard, I decided to go back upstairs. But before doing so, I went to mom's kitchen first to check the dish she make. And here it is, just looking at the soup made me want to get leftover rice and eat it with it. The dish looks really familiar so I told Mama that she only need to put egg to make it into "Sarsiado". But Mama said she forgot to put egg and it's too late now because she's already cooking rice in her stove, lol. By the way, she didn't use fish meat on this recipe but a "Bihod" or a fish roe from a big fish. Gosh it looks really good (人 •͈ᴗ•͈).
