Fiesta and Dog Story: Mommy D's Special Version of Chicken Curry but With Papaya and My Encounter With Three Abandoned Puppies

It's already 6 am but it looks like it's 5. I was out this early to buy two ingredients needed for Mommy D's Ginisang Pancit. Today is the Fiesta here in our town, it's called Basudani Festival. We celebrate it every every year on the 19th of January. On that day, we can look forward to a lot of fun and exciting event with the main ones, the Street Dancing and the Grand Variety Show with the exciting guest later tonight. We'll watch it for sure.

So anyways I was tasked to buy Kikiam and Squid Balls that we'll mix in the Ginisang Pancit. I thought we won't prepare anything this year because that's what they said but then Mommy D can't still help it that she made one dish and that ginisang pancit to share with some friends.

She actually already finish cooking the Pancit when she decided to add this two.

When I arrive home, I just fried it because we'll just made it as a toppings to the Ginisang Pancit

Tadaaaaan!!!! By the way the Pancit Mommy D cooked is just half kilo, I think it can already feed a lot of people. And with all the delicious toppings, we can all enjoy it to our heart content.

As for the one dish she made, this! I think this is her version of chicken curry. It has hatdog... Hat-? What? It also had green Papaya, hmm, I Think that's not a bad ingredient for a curry. Ginataang Papaya is so good actually. I just can't understand why it has hatdog ʘ‿ʘ. Either way, it taste good and that's what's important na mahalaga.

And so this is what we had for breakfast, we had the Ginisang Pancit with Loaf Bread, nomnom ƪ(‾.‾“)┐. I brought some for mamabels as well.
By the way, I have this story I want to share. This happened while i'm on my way home after buying kikiam and squid balls.

I was just walking without the care in the world when I spotted three little cats under this van... Or so I thought it is a cat but actually not. They are puppies, cute puppies at that. They are like a month old I think, not so sure but they are so cute. At first, I thought maybe their owner just leave them a bit in there. But then I also thought, but why there? And it's near the road where often used by any vehicles.
And what if the van leave and the puppies are sleeping under that van? And so I concluded that maybe some people abandon them. I don't want to think it that way but I think that really it is. I have this bread with that I bought in the bakery at the market. I bought it for my breakfast to pair with the pancit but when I saw the puppies, I think about this bread and how I want to feed them to puppies.

My heart suddenly feel so sad when I daw them grab the bread as if they were not feeling for week. I am glad that they are eating. They kind of hesitating at first but I feel like it is their dog instinct that made them react elusive to anyone. I don't have a photo of them because I was busy feeding them. I just want them to feed them to make them full even for a day. I seriously want to bring them home but I don't have anything with me where I can Put them.

And they are really avoiding me when I tried to pat them. But when I hand then a small piece of bread they will move a bit closer to me. There's one though that is really hard to tame. I am also sad that I don't have water with me. I am sure they need it after eating that dry bread. I walk back home while looking back at them. Making sure that they don"t leave under that van. I am planning to asked Mama to go there and check on them.

Mama didn't waste any time and go there to check the puppies. And they are still in there. She had to buy bread to get the attention of the puppies. I forgot to hand this bread to mama because I want her to go there fast. But in the end, mama arrive home without the puppies. She said someone take responsibilities of the puppies which we're really thankful. We also know that person as she has her own pets too
You know, while leaving the place where they are staying, I was praying to Him to let the puppies live. My prayer was answered immediately thanks to the person who got them ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ. They will live because someone decided to keep them. Thanks already big enough. They are out from danger and has home where they can live, together. ෆ╹ .̮ ╹ෆ

Anyways, Happy Fiesta Bansud ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
