Feeling Good On a Satisfying Monday: A Big Task That Was Achieved Today and a Quick Trip to a Neighboring Town with Mama

It really feels good when we achieve something amazing for the day no? No matter how small or big of a task that is, Like, the tiredness that was felt on the process of doing it all are all worth it. I can't say that what we did today was a small task but for me, it is a big one that is worth celebrating. (⁠◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍⁠)

Today's another busy day for me and mama, but it's a productive one so i'm not complaining. We took care another paper today which is a requirement for the financial assistance we're planning to ask in DSWD. There's just a lot of requirements for this one (⁠@⁠_⁠@⁠).

But it's okay, and because we're fast to act, we get the help we need this day too. I was a bit surprised too because it's a bit different from last year when Mama asked help for my hospitalization then. Today's so much better because they gave us the cash after an interview. We're so thankful, so much!

In the morning, we went to the City Hall to get attestation of representative. But because there's a morning assembly coz its monday, we had to wait for them to finish it. We just walk from our house to the city hall, we don't want to spend much today so yeah, I treat it like a morning exercise.

We arrived in the city hall really early, but thanks to that we're thr first that they accomodate. We finish our business here after some inquiries. They listed the requirements we need and had a quick trip to Bongabong. Before that we had a quick stop at home to write authorization letter, had our IDs photocopied and after that we rent a tricycle that will take us to Bongabong.

While moving, we also had a snacks which is Chicken Lumpia and chewy Palitaw. It's already 10 a.m, we had our breakfast at 6:30 a.m so it's understandable if felt hungry right? Haha, especially the time we had to walk back and forth from our house to the City Hall. I am actually having a headache that time, I also had runny rose that is better now as of typing this.

We then arrived in our destination after 30 minutes in the road. We saw a few people inside that just like us, seek some financial assistance

And luckily for us, I got the referral slip without a problem. This is the last requirement we needed for this whole thing. We didn't waste any more time and we headed back to where the tricycle is and made another 30 minutes of trip, this time we'll go back again to the City Hall. I just want to finish everything today. ┐⁠(⁠￣⁠ヘ⁠￣⁠)⁠┌

And finally! Yes we got the cash assistance that we need. I was interviewed by the people of DSWD in our city hall. I had to sigm some papers too. They asked about mom and me. And after like 30 minutes, I received the money, yes, it's CASH! Amounting 10,000 pesos or $169.79 in today's rate. Seriously, I thought we'll have to do few more steps before we receive the money, just like before. Mama received a cheque. But I guess, the policies different now. Good for us who needs it. ♪⁠ ⁠\⁠(⁠^⁠ω⁠^⁠\⁠ ⁠)

We then go back home at 12, had our lunch and what a tiring Monday today is. But though it is tiring, we achieved a lot of great things today and for that, I am so grateful. ♪⁠┌⁠|⁠∵⁠|⁠┘⁠♪

Anyways, in the afternoon, we visit the market because I had to buy our viand for dinner. We just bought carrots and chicken meat. Then I noticed the small stream near the wet market, the water level is a bit high. It rain hard today in the afternoon, minutes after we visit the market. The rain already stop, but I hope it won't start to rain again. It'll be too scary if it rains hard again tonight..
