Exploring Novo in Lipa City with Mama and My Little Brother: The Spacious and Wide Variety of Products Inside and My Dream Full-Length Mirror for My Bedroom

Exploring Novo in Lipa City with Mama and My Little Brother_20250221_172042_0000.png

We have Novo too in Mindoro, it's in Pinamalayan, one ride away from home, which is a one-hour travel from our town. I already explored Novo with Mama, and it is a three-story building. But it's small, compared to the one here in Lipa. And I really thought before Novo had no other branch outside Mindoro, but how wrong I was (≧▽≦). I am not sure which is the main branch, but this one in Lipa is really big and wide too. And I had the chance to stroll inside when my little brother took us there.

It is just one ride away from my brother's apartment. We took a jeep to get there faster. It's raining that day actually, but our "gala" will go on. Lol

Here it is, that's how it looks outside. First thing Mama did was check on all the slippers in each boxes. They have more slippers here with different designs and styles compared to Mindoro, which has just a few styles, and some are even left with big or, if not, small sizes only.

Another thing is, they are like big grocery stores too, they sell food and some basic necessities. They have soap, detergents, and even powdered milk, as in they have everything. If you want to buy a lot of things and foods, you should probably check this building first. We check every section, looking for something that we can buy. I want to actually buy a lot, but then I remember I don't want to carry a lot of things, so I refrain myself. Lol

I almost couldn't stop myself when we got to this part, lol. Haha, good thing I didn't have much money that time so I was able to save myself, haha.

We're done looking around on the first floor, so we go upstairs next. And my, they have an escalator here. The one in Pinamalayan has stairs only, and seriously, climbing up is kinda exhausting there. Still, it's a good exercise, so not bad. We reach the second floor faster thanks to the escalator. And this is what greeted us. Such a pretty design. It was Christmas season, that's why it was designed like that.

They really have a lot of stuff in here too, it's big and really spacious. And look at all those products. There's a lot. Some products were in those boxes. Mama and my brother began looking around as we have a big place to stroll, lol. As for me, well, I'm just following them.

I heard my brother wanting to buy a big mirror, but then he hates carrying something this big. I even convinced him to just get it, but in the end he didn't buy it. Lol.

Then I saw this full length mirror with a stand, and I fell in love with it immediately. This is the mirror I want, but my room is too small to have this. Aside from that, it is too expensive. But I'll get something like this soon too. I'll try my best to have this. Ehe.

And I thought they had a third floor here, but just a second floor only. After looking around, here we go downstairs again. We finish looking around the whole store without getting anything. But we had so much fun checking the different slippers they have. Mama almost buys something in there, but then I remind her that I just bought her a slipper with a full cover, and she hasn't been using it that much. Same with the cream-colored slide sandals I bought for her online. So yeah, she ended up not buying anything as well. Lol.

I'm really glad they have a comfort room here. We had to pee after roaming around Novo so I'm really glad. Lol. There's just a long line when we get there, so while waiting in line, I took more photos in this area.

After the visit in the comfort room, we then decided to go outside. And yep, without buying anything. Haha. We had fun looking around there. And that's really the purpose of this walk. To just enjoy it. We didn't buy anything, but we went home with a happy experience and memories we can always look back ┏(^0^)┛.

novo here in Bogo actually just got renovated and is now bigger but it can't compare to how huge that Novo is in your area, plus ours don't have comfort room

Oh, really, maybe the one here in Lipa is the main branch 🤔. The one in Mindoro is small too but it is a 4 storey building.

The novo was very modern! The novo that we had here in Danao is so oldy and it's like a warehouse 😔

Right, but marami pa rin bang pumapasok sa Novo jan even though it looks so oldy?

Yapp! Aside from being "oldy", the prices of the products are very cheap kaya some people prefer to visit Novo para maka mura sila sa bilihin. Tsaka parang naging grocery store na rin Novo namin dahil nagtitinda na din sila ng foods from China

I can also go into a store and end up not buying anything, because I can't find what I'm looking for or it's beyond my budget.

Yeah, that it's beyond the budget is always the problem in my case too. Lol

Novo is one of the first department stores built in our province, Southern Leyte. It was famous back then for the goods that are priced affordably. It just doesn’t have a grocery store inside. But it was great. Lots of people love to shop there.

I loved strolling at Novo Baguio when I was still in College. Before Online Shops existed, Novo is where you see new things. haha. And they're also cheaper than that of those big malls. Might as well visit the New Novo here again since the old Novo was demolished

Sounds like a fun day out with your family! I totally get the struggle of wanting to buy something but holding back because of practicality with big items like a full-length mirror! It’s great that you still had a memorable time with your mom and little brother. Sometimes, it’s the simple experiences like these that make the best memories! 😍
