Delayed X-ray Results and Treating Ourselves with French Fries and Cold Drinks to Cool Our Head!

Some of you already know that I am scheduled to get surgery tomorrow, February 5, and am currently taking care of the requirements needed to proceed with the operation. February 1, when I do both a lab test and a chest X-ray. On the same day, I got the lab test result, while the x-ray result was scheduled to be released the next day. But, when I visited the Birung Clinic again, they said the result was still not available, so I patiently waited.

They said the result would be out either Saturday or Sunday, but when I got an update yesterday, it's still not there yet. Then Sunday came, which is today, and I'm kind of anxious already because I still haven't received any news from them. So I texted them. Mom is also reminding me nonstop about it, and I'm already annoyed because they are still not messaging me back. So Mom decided to just call them.

And when I heard what they said, I suddenly felt hopeless. It's really annoying! And I badly need it for tomorrow! I remind them nonstop, to the point that I messaged them a lot of times yesterday and today, but there is still nothing. We have already concluded that the date of the operation will be move because of one of the missing requirememt. That's what I thought while waiting for the reply from Dr. Ricardo, because I informed him about my problem.

We only talk through chat, and it's nerve-wracking because I can't think of any solution. It's already 2 p.m., and I also tried contacting another hospital, asking if I could also get the result today if I ever do a chest x-ray at their hospital. But unfortunately, I get a negative response. We're already thinking that the date of the operation will change just because of that x-ray result, but then I received a reply from Dr. Ricardo that the date will not change and the operation will happen tomorrow. I was like "thanks heaven!"

The solution we came up with was to just get an x-ray at Mr. Estrella Hospital, which is the same hospital where I will get operated on. We just have to go there much earlier to get the test done immediately. Hopefully, what we planned today will be as effective as what we hope for.

If only that clinic where I get my chest x-ray done informed us that the doctor who'll give the reading was not available, then there wouldn't be a problem now. They even assure us that the result will be out on Saturday or Sunday, only for it to fail. I'm actually cursing everyone in my head at that time, you know, because of my anger. I'm also regretting that I decided to get the x-ray in that clinic just because I wanted to save money and use it for something else. I should've just gone get it at the Pinamalayan Doctors' Hospital. Tch!

But anyway, the good news is that the operation will still continue, and I sigh in relief after reading the reply from Dr. Ricardo.

I'm still a little angry from that time, but then Mommy suggested that we go buy a cold drink with fries at the burger house in our neighborhood. I immediately said yes, as I was also hungry at that time. Gosh, hunger and anger are not a good combination, lol. I and Mommy F went here together, Mom is already close to the owner of this burger house. Well, we're neighbors, so Mom can talk to her sometimes, especially if she buys a load from Mom.

And look how cute the decorations are in here! Y'all know Valentine's Day is fast approaching, and that is why this place looks like this. The design may be simple, but you can still feel the essence of love here. And with this, they also have a promo right now, which is the buy one, take one promo. But this time it's for a hatdog sandwich. Mom really wants to buy it too, but I remind her that we will go somewhere tomorrow and that she has to watch out for the foods she will consume or her arthritis will act up again. Good thing she listens to me (≧▽≦).

And with all of those decorations in there, I urge Mom to pose for me, and I will take her photos, and there you have it, haha. When it comes to taking a photo, she's always in it. As for me, I'm only a wannabe photographer, and I can never pose in public. And I only took a photo in here because I'm with Mom and there's not many people in here.

Now, with the food we ordered, There it is! It's Gulaman Drink and French Fries. A perfect combo to cool me down. It's so refreshing, and with the sweetness and saltiness of the two, the fire in my head melted down, and all of the negative thoughts and feelings just vanished. Perfecto!
