A Quick Visit at the Hardware Shop to Buy a Hand Tool (Phillips Screwdriver) for My Electric Fan!
Owning appliances comes with big responsibilities, from cleaning to maintaining them, or, in the worstcase scenario, fixing them too. To be honest, I only help Mom with their appliances when she asks for help from me. She's really the one who takes care of it, especially when it comes to cleaning. You'll need tools to do that, and she has those tools. She's a woman, but she's an expert when it comes to that. She's also the one who opens them, like, for example, when the switch for the light suddenly won't turn on. She will open and check it and only when she asks for me will I help.
I am not an expert when it comes to it, but watching her gave me the basic knowledge. Y'all know that basics are a big help to everyone. At least we'd get an idea of what to do and not do when it comes to technical stuff. Actually, anyone can really do it, as long as you have the basics. And Mom is the technician in the house, but if she can't fix them, that's when she will ask for help from a professional. As for me, I don't really care much about technical stuff because I don't own any appliances that require cleaning or repair. To be honest, I'm thankful that I don't own anything. ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
But since Mom bought an e-fan for me last March, I now have the responsibility to maintain it. I promised myself that I would clean it monthly, or maybe two times a month. As I am inborn lazy, I tend to forget everything when it comes to cleaning because I really hate it. Just let me wash all the dishes, but please don't ask me to clean, lol. I mean, the truth is, it's really not that I forgot what I promised, it's more like, I always set aside the cleaning stuff because, as I've said, I'm inborn lazy. But anyhow, I can't apply this laziness when it comes to cleaning this e-fan.
Dust is bad for my nose, so I really have to be more responsible when it comes to this. And with that being said, when I check Mom's screwdrivers, the cross shape is too big for the cross screws my e-fan has. Mom has this cheap, two-in-one screwdriver with the flat and cross head, but as you can see, it is super duper big. Sorry that it's quite messy, it's an old one, and it looks like that now because of the paint we used on Mom's tricycle before, lol. And, because we don't have a small screwdriver with a cross head, we decided to buy the smaller one at the Hardware Shop. I went there with Mommy F because she has to buy something too for her motorcycle.
Here we are now in the pick-up shop with a hardware section, and they are cheaper compared to the one that they sell in a real hardware shop. We saw a cute, huggable stuffed toy on the entrance. They are too cute to be ignored, right? And look how that pink little monkey is trying to get anyone's attention, so cutieeeee (●´⌓`●). My two niece and nephew will love it for sure. Sad, I don't have money ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ.
So we started looking around to look for a small screwdriver. Mom here already has what she needs, while I'm still looking for that one small thing. It's hard to look for it because it is so small. And I don't want to ask for some assistance because I really hate it when someone's following me around while I'm looking for what I need. Do you feel the same, ba?
Anyway, I continued looking around, but I couldn't find the size that I needed. I saw a small size, but it's not a cross-head screwdriver, and that's what I need. Then they have this cross head here, but it's super big again, lol. Like whyyy, huhu.
I really thought I wouldn't find it, but tadaaaaa! Finally! Small, long, and thick —just the perfect size for my e-fan.
After getting the items we need, we proceed to go home. And right after arriving, I open my e-fan and clean it thoroughly. It got lots of dust inside. Imagine that I can inhale it every day. Aigooo. Mom volunteered to help, but I told her that I could manage it. I got all the screws smoothly, and there's 8 screws in one cover. When I put it back, I just put 4 so that the next time I clean, it'll be faster and with less hassle.
It's really easy, I didn't even sweat. This is the one responsibility that was added to my monthly task. It's fun, but I don't really like it, haha. But it feels good that I was able to clean it on my own. How about you? How's your e-fan right now? Check it, it might need some cleaning now, you know (ʘᴗʘ✿).

Glad you got the screwdriver, we call them positive or Phillips screwdrivers.
Inborn lazy so you only put 4 screws back 🤣🤣🤣 Careful it does not fall to bits when it is running and vibrating🤣
Hehe, glad we found some on the first store we visit hehe
Hahahaha yes, but it's just the cover in the back so I think its still okay 😆😆
Ah okay, I shall be watching for a fan update 🤣
I did clean mine just two weeks ago. Haha! I don't clean regularly, too.
Haha di naman ganon kadalas bumisita ang mga dust, haha mas maganda linisin kapag umaapaw na sa alikabok lololol
