How to make clove pitha
Who doesn't love to taste new food ,,, and if it's a crunchy pitha,,,, then there's no better time.
Yes friends, that's right! Today I am here with a new pitha recipe. I don't know if you have ever eaten this pitha before.
Even if you have eaten it, I am still sharing this pitha recipe with you today! I hope you like it.
Clove Latika Pitha Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup flour
- One and a half teaspoons of oil
- Water 1/2 cup (for making yeast)
- Salt 1/2 tsp.
- Oil 2 cups
- Coconut 2 cups
- 2 tablespoons of powdered milk
- 1 teaspoon of liquid milk
- Sugar 1/2 cup
- Jaggery 1 tablespoon
- Bay leaf 1
- Cinnamon 1 piece
- 3 cloves
- Cardamom 1
- 1/2 tsp ghee
I mixed the flour, oil, salt, and water and got the yeast ready. Now what I did was to make small rounds from the yeast and cut them separately to make bread.
Preparation method:

Next, I put the pan in the oven, added coconut, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, powdered milk, a small amount of jaggery, sugar, water, and salt.
I turned the heat down and made the coconut filling. Then I left it under the pan for a while to cool.
Once the filling had cooled, I rolled out the roti one by one and started making pitha with the coconut filling.

After making the bread, when I put the coconut filling in the middle, I folded the bread into four corners.

When the square is folded, its size and beauty have increased a lot. You can understand that if you look at the photography.

When I had the folding all around completed, I placed a clove on top of the pitha, right in the middle. This makes the pitha look much prettier, and it's also a lot more fun to eat.

Once all the pithas were made, I took them out on a plate and put them in a pan, in the oil to heat.
Once the oil was hot, I turned down the heat and dropped the pita bread, one by one, into the oil.

This is how I slowly started frying all the pithas. When the desired brown color was reached on the pithas, I took them out one by one.
This way, you too can easily make Clove Latika Pitha! It is as beautiful to look at as it is delicious to eat.
