Tasoshi Drakamoto Enters Praetoria - Review and Some Tips | Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge

Hello everyone, Welcome to my Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge post. In this post, I'll talk about the new Voucher Card Tasoshi Drakamoto, and more. Also, I will give some tips, I hope it will be useful for you.

One of the most anticipated drops of the year, Tasoshi Drakamoto, is now available on the Exclusive shop. Tasoshi Drakamoto is an Epic Fire Unit card, and can be got using Vouchers from the Exclusive store, and each copy costs 250 Vouchers. By the way, it will be available in the Exclusive shop until September 14th, so you might not want to miss this great opportunity.

You can access the Exclusive shop by clicking on SHOP from the top menu and then Exclusive.

As seen in the picture above, a total of 11,230,400 Vouchers have been spent so far, and 763,000 Vouchers have been spent for the Tasoshi Drakamoto card in 6 days, which clearly shows that the interest and demand for this card is quite high. Honestly, I'm not surprised that the demand is so high because it's one of the best Sneaks I've ever seen.

Each copy of Tasoshi Drakamoto card costs 250 Vouchers and 46 copies need to be combined for the max level, so a max level Tasoshi Drakamoto card costs 11,500 Vouchers.

  • Those who buy 50 cards at once will get a guaranteed Gold Foil card (reduced to 25 cards if potions are used)
  • Gold Foil Chance: 2%
  • Double to 4% using Alchemy Potions! (8 potions required per card)
  • Black Foil Chance: 0.025%
  • Double to 0.05% using Midnight Potions! (8 potions required per card)

By the way, Vouchers can be earned by staking SPS or purchased for DEC in the Voucher Exchange. You can also get Vouchers by trading and swapping on the Hive market.

1 Voucher is currently 29,802 DEC. And DEC is currently trading at $0.00092. There are a few ways to buy DEC and you can check here for more info.

In my opinion, the easiest way to get Vouchers is to stake SPS. I have 60,500 SPS in Stake and I claim my SPS and Voucher rewards every day. The more SPS you stake, the more your rewards in both ranked battles and staking increase, so I attach great importance to increasing my staked SPS. The importance and rewards of SPS staking are starting to increase even more, so I will need to consider staking more SPS.

Tasoshi Drakamoto

Tasoshi Drakamoto is an Epic card in the Fire Unit. Tasoshi Drakamoto gains the Sneak Ability at level 1, the Inspire Ability at level 3, the Stun Ability at level 5, and the Spite Ability at level 6. She has cool abilities that will add strength to teams in the Fire unit. One of the best sneak units I've ever seen, maybe even the best. Tasoshi Drakamoto costs 8 mana and has 3 magic attacks, 2 armor, 4 speed and 6 health at max level.

  • Sneak Ability : Targets the enemy unit in the last position.
  • Inspire Ability (at level 3) : +1 melee power to all allied units.
  • Stun Ability (at level 5) : 50% chance to apply Stunned for one round after a successful attack. Stunned units skip their turn and cannot Retaliate.
  • Spite Ability (at level 6) : When defeated, 100% chance to counterattack.

Let's examine the abilities that Tasoshi Drakamoto has.

Sneak Ability

Sneak is already one of my favorite abilities because it's the easiest way to destroy my opponents' backline. Most Sneak Units have melee attack(s), so many players, including myself, take precautions against them. Tasoshi Drakamoto has magic attacks so she will definitely be very annoying for opponents. To be honest, I wouldn't want to see her in my opponents' lineup.

Inspire Ability

The Inspire ability grants +1 melee attack to all friendly melee attack units. Whenever I use Melee attack units in my team, I always include the Inspire ability in my lineup when I have the chance, so that they attack enemies more powerfully. Tasoshi Drakamoto can attack from any position and the Inspire ability makes her special for me, which is exactly why I will definitely add her to my deck.

Stun Ability

Units with the Stun Ability have a 50% chance to apply Stunned for one round after a successful attack. Stunned units skip their turn and cannot Retaliate.

Stun is a really useful ability and is even more useful when combined with Knock Out because Units with Knock Out ability does double damage when attacking an enemy that is stunned. If I get the level 5 Tasoshi Drakamoto card, it will be one of the cards I will use the most in battles with the Heavy Hitters ruleset.

Spite Ability

Units with the Spite Ability have a 100% chance to counterattack when defeated. Spite is a really amazing ability, I've never used it before but my opponent used it and it caused my team a lot of suffering. You can watch the battle here.

Tasoshi Drakamoto is a very special card with powerful abilities, at least for me, I have no doubt that she will add power to my team, so I will definitely add her to my deck. I already love sneak units and I use them in many battles, they can be very effective when used with good strategies. I also need the Inspire ability a lot in battles and Tasoshi Drakamoto has both magic attacks and the Inspire ability, which is a big advantage, so I will definitely add Tasoshi Drakamoto, which is at least Level 3, to my deck. I also really need the Stun Ability so I'm wondering if I can get the level 5 one. But I would love to upgrade it to level 6 in the future.

If you have any questions about #Splinterlands or anything else please feel free to ask and I'll be happy to answer them.

So what do you think about Tasoshi Drakamoto? Do you plan to add her to your deck?
