Last Season Summary - Purchasing and Opening Major Chests And My New Season Goals | Splinterlands Social Media Challenge
Hello everyone, I hope everything is going well in your life and you are having a wonderful day. The other day, another great season ended on Splinterlands, and I played both Wild and Frontier last season. To be honest, I really enjoyed both formats. However, I played less than in previous seasons, but I earned more. I added more cards to my deck and gained more SPS and Glint. For some personal reasons, I don't turn on my computer very often. To be honest, if it weren't for HIVE and Splinterlands, I probably wouldn't turn on my computer at all. Last season, I earned Foundation cards in the Frontier format and SPS and Glint in the Wild format, which is why I love these two formats so much, but above all, I love Splinterlands.
Last season, I managed to advance to Diamond III in the Wild, which, if I remember correctly, was the first time I had advanced to Diamond III in a long time. And at the end of the season I got 51,612 Glint rewards, which is almost 20,000 more than the previous season, which clearly shows how good the last season was for me.
I actually like the Modern format more, but I think my deck is not enough for this format, and I have a lot more playable cards in the Wild format, so this format is much easier for me. I will buy a few more cards for the Modern format and until then I will continue playing in the Wild format. Renting cards is also a great option, but buying one makes more sense to me.
To play in the Wild format, we first need to purchase the Wild Pass. And the Wild Pass costs 2000 CREDITS or 2000 DEC, and the purchased Wild Pass is valid for the current season, meaning a new Wild Pass must be purchased for each season. I purchased a Wild Pass for 2000 DEC and unlocked the Wild format for the current season.
To try my luck, I just bought bought 60 Major chests for 60,000 Glint token from the rewards shop and opened them.
Opening Major Chests
I got 1 Legendary, 2 Epic, 3 Rare, 54 Common Rebellion reward cards, along with Merits, Energies, and Potions. I can say I'm very happy with my rewards, especially since getting another copy of the Gallicus card was great, so I upgraded it to level 2. Of course, I am very pleased with my other rewards as well. As my deck grows, my chances of winning battles increase, so I like to get cards from chests. Also, Energies allow me to play more in Wild, while Merits allow me to purchase Gladius chests, so I like to get Merits and Energies, and I just got quite a few of them.
Gallicus
And now Gallicus also has the Shield Ability, which deals 50% less damage (rounded up) from physical attacks or 0 damage from physical attacks of 1 power. Gallicus only costs 4 mana, so it's one of my most used cards, especially in low-mana battles. And I will be using it more in battles since it will take less damage from physical attacks.
After a long time, I played in Wild format last season and realized how much I missed using my Chaos Legion cards. I wish I could use them in Modern too, but it's not a big deal since I still have the chance to use them in Wild format and tournaments. However, this was the first time in a long time that I had the chance to use them so much and I had even forgotten that some of them were in my deck, so I had a bit of a rough time last season, but it didn't last long and I quickly adapted. My goal for the new season is to play more in the Frontier and Wild, and earn more Foundation cards and more SPS and Glint. I'm aiming to advance to the Champion League, especially in the Wild format, I know it won't be easy, but I've done it before and I can do it again.
Splinterlands is a really amazing game and I really enjoy playing it, play it almost every day I wish I had the chance to play it more, I love this game so much.
