Commander Slade Card, Enfeeble & Dodge Abilities Review & One of My Favorite Strategies and Amazing Battle | Splinterlands Social Media Challenge

Hello everyone, Welcome to my Splinterlands Social Media Challenge post. In this post, I will be talking about the Rebellion reward card Commander Slade, Enfeeble Ability, Dodge Ability and more, as well as an amazing battle. I hope it will be useful for you.

Even though I'm currently on a business trip, I can't stay away from creating content and playing Splinterlands, I am definitely addicted to Splinterlands, without a doubt. I didn't really expect to be able to create a second Splinterlands weekly challenge post this week, but I finished work a little early today, and immediately got to my computer to create Splinterlands content. Even though I won't be able to create very long content, I'm glad I didn't miss the two Splinterlands Challenge posts this week. I hope it will be useful for you. By the way, I couldn't play Splinterlands much this week, but I played it when I had the chance because I can't stay away from it for too long. My business trip ends on Tuesday and I can't wait to play more next week.

Commander Slade is a Rare Water Monster card that has the Enfeeble Ability and Dodge Ability from level 1, the Reflection Shield Ability from level 5 and the Backfire Ability at level 8. And it costs 10 mana. And I think the fact that it has high health and armor is a big advantage.

  • Enfeeble Ability : Each successful attack reduces the defender's Melee attack by 1.
  • Dodge Ability : Has a 25% higher chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks.
  • Reflection Shield Ability : This Unit doesn't take damage from Blast, Magic Reflect, Thorns, or Return Fire.
  • Backfire Ability : If an enemy misses this Unit with an attack, the attacker takes 2 Melee damage.

The Rebellion reward cards are really powerful and I love most of them and they can be very effective in battles and I can't wait to add all the Rebellion reward cards to my deck and level them all up to max.

Commander Slade is an amazing card with powerful abilities, especially useful against Melee Attack Monsters. I especially add Commander Slade to my team if I feel that my opponents prefer Melee Attack Monsters, and I especially pay great attention to putting it in the enemies' target.

Currently my Commander Slade card is only level 2 and even level 2 Commander Slade shows great performance in battles and can help me a lot and I can't wait to level it up to level 8.

Enfeeble Ability

When Monsters with the Enfeeble Ability hit their targets, they reduce their melee attack by 1. Therefore, it is a ability that can be very effective against Melee attack Monsters and causes them to deal less damage. That's exactly why I use it against melee attack monsters. Meanwhile, Enfeeble can be Cleansed and Enfeeble does not impact Monsters with Immunity.

Dodge Ability

Monsters with the Dodge Ability have a 25% chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks. Dodge Ability and Enfeeble Ability can be very useful against Melee Attack Monsters, and Commander Slade having these two abilities makes it a special card for me and I use it especially against Melee Attack Monsters. I can say that it is one of the cards I use the most, especially in the Melee Mayhem, Super Sneak and Up Close and Personal rulesets, because in these rulesets, most players, including me, are more willing to choose Melee Attack Monsters.

Below I will talk about a battle that I think will be a good example of the Commander Slade Card and the Enfeeble & Dodge abilities, let's examine the battle.

Battle Ruleset

  • Super Sneak: All Melee attack Monsters have the Sneak ability.
  • Equalizer: The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health.

Sneak Ability : Targets the last Unit on the enemy Team instead of the first Unit.

According to the ruleset of the battle, all Monsters will have the Sneak Ability, and the initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health. Therefore, in this battle, Melee Attack Monsters will be able to attack no matter what position they are in, and they will target the last Unit on the enemy Team instead of the first Unit. I can say that I determined my strategy accordingly.

Since all Monsters in this battle will have the Sneak Ability, I specifically put Commander Slade in the last position and I had no doubt that it would be very effective there.

Battle Comments

Round 1

There is no doubt that a Monster like Dumacke Orc can be very effective in such a fight, so it was wise for the opposing player to put it in the last position. Also, I added Dumacke Orc to my team, but I wanted to save it for later rounds, so I put it in the fifth position.

In the first round, Commander Slade reduced the Dumacke Orc's melee attack by 1, preventing it from being very effective, and also managed to evade 3 attacks.

Round 2

In the second round, Commander Slade was destroyed but the Resurrect Ability brought it back to life with 1 health. And it managed to evade 5 attacks which was really annoying for the opponent, and also prevented my team from taking any more damage.

Round 3

In the third round, Commander Slade did another great job by reducing the Drybone Raider's melee attack by 1. Although it was destroyed in the third round, it had already managed to disrupt the opposing player's strategy and gave my team a huge advantage in the battle. The opposing team's job was now very difficult indeed.

The opposing team was already weakened, and Dumacke Orc's impressive performance in the later rounds allowed my team to easily win the battle, which is exactly why I put it in the fifth position.

The battle lasted 5 rounds and at the end of the battle, while all the Monsters on the opposing team were destroyed, 5 Monsters on my team were still alive, which showed that my strategy worked quite well. I would say that this is one of my favorite strategies in battles with the Super Sneak ruleset because it really works. Also, I would like to say that I put Commander Slade in the first position in the Melee Mayhem ruleset. Commander Slade is a truly amazing card and I can say that it has become one of my favorites because of the Enfeeble and Dodge abilities. Especially against Melee Attack Monsters, I add Commander Slade to my team without hesitation and it can help my team a lot as seen in the battle above.

Commander Slade will definitely an alternative to Diemonshark and I am using it more and more now and results are visible with it's enfeeble already more famous.

I do feel it's a good front monster option even in battles other than melee mayhem and super sneak battles.

Nice choice of lineup for the battle, thanks, have a good Sunday :)
