Spotify announced that Cowboy Carter album was the most streamed album on the platform in a single day so far in 2024 on Friday, March 29, the same day it was released. Spotify also added that "this also the first time a country album holds the title this year".

Amazon Music announced that Cowboy Carter marks Beyoncé's biggest album debut on Amazon Music, and it also claimed the title of most-first day streams of a country album by a female artist on Amazon Music.

Additionally, 26 of the album's 27 songs are currently on Apple Music's top 100 list.

Before the release of Cowboy Carter, Beyoncé dropped "Texas Hold 'Em" and "16 Carriages" released singles on Super Bowl Sunday and "Texas Hold 'Em" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Charts, making Beyoncé the first Black woman to top the chart on Billboard.

Beyoncé is already an established and acclaimed singer with millions of fans around the world, but Cowboy Carter has become much more than just a collection of hit songs for fans and will likely be nominated for major awards next awards season.
