Come Away with Me is the debut studio album by American recording artist Norah Jones. The album was released by Blue Note Records on February 26, 2002. And the album was produced by Arif Mardin, Jay Newland, Norah Jones and Craig Street. Additionally, recording sessions took place at Sorcerer Sound Studio in New York City and Allaire Studios in Shokan, New York. The recordings took place between September 2000 and December 2001.

Come Away with Me is an acoustic pop album that features Jones supported by jazz musicians : Kevin Breit, Adam Levy, Bill Frisell, Adam Rogers and Tony Scherr on guitar, Sam Yahel on organ, Jenny Scheinman on violin, Rob Burger on accordion, and Brian Blade, Kenny Wollesen and Dan Rieser on drums. Also, The album incorporates blues, jazz, soul, folk and country.

Come Away with Me sold 10,000 copies in its first week of release and debuted at number 139 on the Billboard 200 in the US. Despite being released at a time when music piracy was high and album sales were low, it was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in August 2002. The album peaked at number one on the US Billboard 200 in January 2003, and also received Grammy Awards for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album. It was also certified Diamond by the RIAA on February 15, 2005, for shipments of over 10 million copies in the United States.

Come Away with Me was a significant commercial success. In total, the album charted on the Billboard 200 for 165 weeks and has sold 11.1 million copies in the US as of March 2016, and was certified Diamond by the RIAA for selling over ten million copies. Additionally, as of 2016, it became the eleventh best-selling album of the Nielsen SoundScan era. The album debuted at number 37 in Germany. It remained on the German Albums Chart for 141 weeks, reaching number 2 in its 37th week and remaining on the chart for four weeks. Come Away with Me sold 750,000 copies, reaching 5× gold, becoming her most successful album in Germany and one of the longest-charting albums on the German Albums Chart. Come Away with Me has sold more than 28 million copies worldwide and became one of the best-selling albums. It is currently considered the 31st best-selling album worldwide. There are some really great songs on the Come Away with Me album, but my favorites are "Don't Know Why", this song calms me down.

Norah Jones has a stunning voice, especially when she sings Don't Know Why, her voice and vibe are truly amazing. When I listen to this song, it evokes many emotions in me and also calms me down. It's like the definition of feeling. It's truly a great work.
