Map of the Soul: 7 is the seventh studio album by South Korean boy band BTS, released on February 21, 2020 by Big Hit Music. The album was recorded between 2019 and 2020. It was produced by Pdogg, Hiss Noise, Arcades, Fred Gibson, Bad Milk, Marcus McCoan, Suga, El Capitxn, Ghstloop, Tom Wiklund, Bram Inscore, Sleep Deez, Supreme Boi, Jimin, Slow Rabbit, Audien. Map of the Soul: 7 is the sequel to the 2019 expanded play Map of the Soul: Persona, which has five songs on the album. The album has been described as a Pop, R&B and Hip-hop record with influences from urban contemporary genres such as Rock, Trap and EDM. The lyrics touch on themes of reflection, introspection and self-acceptance.

Map of the Soul: 7 was a great commercial success, received praise and great acclaim. The album sold more than 4.1 million copies in just nine days, becoming the best-selling album in South Korea, breaking the Guinness World Record, and was also certified quadruple million certification by Korea Music Content Association (KMCA). Additionally, it became the best-selling album of 2020, selling more than 4.8 million copies in 2020. Additionally, Map of the Soul: 7 reached number one in more than 20 countries. The album was certified platinum in the United States and Japan, and was certified gold in seven other countries. While the album was deemed worthy of many awards, the song "On" won Best Pop, Best Choreography and Best K-pop at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards. To be honest, I don't listen to BTS that much, but I can't deny their talent, they are a really good group and their teamwork in their songs is amazing. BTS is one of the groups I've heard the most since 2016, so their commercial success and popularity is not a coincidence and they deserve it. I can say that the songs I heard most from the album Map of the Soul: 7 are "Black Swan", "Boy With Luv", "On". Especially "Black Swan" and "On" are really good songs, I really liked the band's performance and teamwork, they are a really talented band.

I talked about it in my article yesterday, and I will talk about it briefly here too. Even though I don't know the language of the lyrics of the song, the feeling some of the songs give is really amazing, as if I understand what they are saying. I'm not sure, but maybe the best way to learn a language is to listen to songs, at least they can be a great help in learning that language.
