Gold Greatest Hits Album is a compilation album by the Swedish pop group ABBA and was released on 21 September 1992 through PolyGram. Additionally, this album was the first compilation released after PolyGram's acquisition of Polar Music and thus the rights to the ABBA back catalogue. All tracks on the album were produced by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus.

The critically acclaimed Gold: Greatest Hits album has been called one of the most influential compilation albums ever released. Gold: Greatest Hits was a huge commercial success, selling more than 30 million copies worldwide. The album is the best-selling ABBA album, as well one of the best-selling albums worldwide. Additionally, it is currently the 23rd best-selling album worldwide.

The album has also been re-released several times since 1992, most notably the first remastered in 1999 to mark the 25th anniversary of the group winning the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest. Additionally, it was re-released in 2008 to coincide with the release of the film Mamma Mia, and most recently in 2014 to mark the 40th anniversary of the group's win at the Eurovision Song Contest.

Gold: Greatest Hits became the second best-selling album of all time in the UK, after Queen's Greatest Hits, with sales of 5.61 million copies. Additionally, in August 2019, Gold: Greatest Hits became the longest-running top 100 album of all time, spending 900 weeks on the UK Albums Chart. As of July 2021, the album has become the first album to reach 1000 weeks in the Official Charts in United Kingdom, with sales of 5.61 million copies sold in the UK. In November 2021, it was awarded 20x Platinum by the British Phonographic Industry, denoting six million album-equivalent units in the UK. The album sold a total of 5.8 million copies in the United States, becoming the nineteenth best-selling greatest-hits album in the Nielsen Music era. Gold: Greatest Hits reached Diamond status in Canada in May 2000. In Germany, Gold: Greatest Hits was certified five-times Platinum with shipments of 2.5 million units. It has also been certified 10 times Platinum in Switzerland with sales of 500,000 units. The album charted for 397 weeks in Austria, making it the all-time second longest stay on the chart. Dancing Queen is ABBA's most famous song and, in my opinion, their best song. I see that a song from 43 years ago is still being played in some places, which proves that it is a great work. From the euphoric opening to the lyrics that perfectly encapsulate youthful happiness, "Dancing Queen" is the masterpiece that's outlasted the disco era to become a standard of modern-day dance music. It is impossible to listen to this song and not be filled with a feeling of complete joy and happiness.
