In battles with the Rise of the Commons Ruleset, only Common and Rare units may be used, but Summoners are unaffected by this rule.

I like the Rise of the Commons Ruleset because my deck is richer in Common and Rare cards and their levels are higher than the epic and legendary ones.

Also, I would like to say that the abilities I use most in battles with the Rise of the Commons Ruleset are Sneak Ability and Opportunity Ability. In particular, I would like to point out that I prefer units with Sneak Ability and Double Strike Ability more. Frankly, I benefit from the power of all abilities in all battles, but I wanted to point out that they are the abilities I use the most in battles with the Rise of the Commons ruleset.

• Sneak Ability : Targets the last Unit on the enemy Team instead of the first Unit.
• Double Strike Ability : This unit attacks twice each round.
• Opportunity Ability : Units with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Unit with the lowest health.

Let's examine the Rise of the Commons Ruleset in a battle.

MY STRATEGY

Since the battle had the Rise of the Commons Ruleset, only common and rare units may be used in battles. Additionally, since it had the Armored Up ruleset, all Monsters would have 2 Armor in addition to their normal Armor stat.

Since I believe that Katrelba Gobson and Dhampir Infiltrator can be effective in this battle, I will determine my strategy accordingly. They both have Sneak and Double Strike Abilities, and Katrelba Gobson also has the Bloodlust Ability in addition to these two abilities. These two do a really great job in these types of battles.

First, I chose Helios Matriarch as the Summoner to increase the speed of all Monsters in my team by +1 and use a Gladiator card in this battle. Since I was not sure what kind of strategy the opposing player would form a team with, I had to take every possibility into consideration in this battle. I put monsters with high health according to their mana cost in the first two positions. In the last two positions, I put monsters that could evade the attacks of Sneak Monsters.

I put Dhampir Infiltrator in the third position and Katrelba Gobson in the fourth position. I put them in middle positions so they wouldn't be the first target of the enemies. But having monsters with Opportunity Ability on the opposing team could cause Dhampir Infiltrator to be destroyed early, but I had to take this risk.

Additionally, I specifically put the Terraceous Grunt with the Dodge Ability in the first position and the Naga Assassin with the Backfire Ability in the last position because both of them can be quite effective against melee and ranged attack monsters. My strategy in this battle was to destroy the monsters on the opposing team, starting from the last position of the opposing team with Katrelba Gobson and Dhampir Infiltrator.

BATTLE COMMENTS

Round 1

To be honest, the opposing player's strategy was also very good. It was wise to use the Thorns Ability and Protect Ability in such a battle. Frankly, I thought about using these abilities, but I gave up on using them considering the possibility of the opponent player choosing the magic attack monsters.

In the first round, while all the monsters on my team hit their targets, 3 monsters on the opposing team missed Terraceous Grunt. That's why my team was more effective in the first round, while the opposing team was not very effective. And while one monster from the opposing team was destroyed in the first round, all the monsters on my team were still alive. Additionally, for Katrelba Gobson destroyed Maggots, all of its stats increased by +1.

Round 2

Katrelba Gobson and Dhampir Infiltrator's attacks were admirable, their attacks twice each round were devastating to the enemies. In the second round, while 2 more monsters from the opposing team were destroyed, one monster from my team was destroyed. I can say that the main reason why Terraceous Grunt was destroyed early was its Thorn Ability.

Round 3

Katrelba Gobson reveled in the glory of combat and becomes more dangerous as the battle goes on. Katrelba Gobson was really attacking very brutally, and when Dhampir Infiltrator's attacks were added to it, it was much easier to destroy the enemies. At the end of the third round, the opposing team had only 2 monsters left and their health was only 1. So it wouldn't be hard to destroy them next round.

Round 4

In the fourth round, the last two remaining monsters on the opposing team were destroyed before they had a chance to attack.

The battle lasted for 4 rounds, at the end of the battle all the monsters on the opposing team were destroyed and my team managed to win the pretty tough battle. The above battle clearly showed how effective Monsters with Sneak Ability and Double Strike Ability are in this type of battle. That's why I take care to use the Sneak Ability and Double Strike Ability in such battles. I recommend you to watch this great and quite challenging battle from the Battle Link.
