Love & Vampires - Three Tune Tuesday!

(Source-https://www.empireonline.com/movies/reviews/lost-boys-review/)

Taking you back to 87'. Summer is here, love is at the beach and vampires roam the streets! There's no better way to navigate it all than with some of the best retrowave tunes out there. So here are 3 tunes to help beat the heat.

(Enoshima beach, Kanagawa)

First up, one of my favorite tunes right now, just take a chance, before we run out of time....

Kalax - Out of Time (feat. Pyxis, Jay Diggs)

It's getting hot out there so cool off with the top down and this smooth tune by Duett. The spellbinding synth bass lead and the lascivious vocals will put you in the mood. Do you feel the same as I do?

Duett (Feat. Stewart Lockwood) - Don't Make Me Wait

Did you hear that? Shadow people? All's not well in the pursuit of love this summer, there's bloodsuckers out there too! Strangers in a dark room laughing at jokes they didn't quite hear.... Not to worry, we have the power of the saxophone on our side!

The Midnight - Vampires

Well kids, wipe the sweat away, that't it for this week. Stay cool, stay frosty, stay in the pursuit of love and tune in next week for another exciting chapter of Three Tune Tuesday!

(Kamo River, Kyoto)

Thanks for listening!

Thanks to @boxcarblue for introducing me to #TTT and @ablaze for dreaming it up.

Expected to see this tune before finishing scrolling ur post!

I was just reading ur reply on my epitaph records nineties comp post. It’s odd cause most my punk friends never got heavy into synth. Big I’ll tell ya the story. Took a date to see movie Drive at the movies. That first minute when Kavinsky “Night Call” came on I felt the same excitement and wonder I had when I first heard my first 10 seconds of a punk rock record. Never had that exact magic feeling in between being 13 finding punk and like 27 finding Synthwave. I remember walking about and buying the soundtrack to Drive which was 3 Synthwave songs and then mostly score. But it sent me down the track to finding out what this sound was. I got to go to some Synth parties in NYC 2017-2019. Anyway it’s a rare find here on Hive so just over sharing 🤣.

🎸Cheers friend! 🎹

That sounds like the original. Is there a synthwave remix?

I grew up in the 80's so the whole synth sounds were set in me, then got into punk as a teen. After punk I became a raver and DnB DJ. Actually was a DJ in Tokyo with my own club nights, CD and other fun things. So going back to 80's synth sounds is natural.

I still haven't been to synth party yet. Maybe I should get one going in Tokyo....

Thanks and cheers back!
