I don't think it's because of the beneficiary you give that makes you receive votes from @leo.voter. If it's about beneficiary don't you think they can give higher votes to earn more beneficiary rewards?
I think you have some misconception. There is no guarantee you will receive upvote. May be the person you are talking about is genuine supporter and premium user of Inleo. I think I can't judge anyone like that.

Hive curation uses declining VP: votes early in payout window (first 3-5 min) get full weight (100%). Later votes get less (decays to ~17-25% after hours, down to 2.5% near end).
Beneficiary doesn't affect your vote weight—only splits author rewards post-vote. Vote power comes from your HP, VP, account age, and timing.
